VOTE: stan
That's the first time Flavor has unvoted since their unvote of an RVS vote. I don't like the picture you wanted to paint here based on one instance. You didn't word it "It was really easy for you to unvote right now." You said:
Which makes it sound like a thing that has been happening all game.stan1ey wrote:Its very easy to persuade you to unvote- joges

This is the second post now that's close to another post, that I also agree is a strong case of fence sitting. In post 451, Flavor Leaf wrote:Slaxx, you’re coming off more like scum pushing townies flaws moreso than town calling out potential scum.
Not saying that’s what it is, but that’s what’s coming off.

What does confident mean to you though, are you suggesting you "know 100%" or are you suggesting "you feel strongly"? Because, like to me I'm not confident until I know 100%, 1%-99% is a gut feeling/"I could see this being this way", perhaps I'm just making a big deal about something based on how I define it, but you define it different. In post 541, Ruby Red wrote:

this is one of those scenarios.
My original complaint though, is not someone saying they're confident, but rather asking someone on D1 if they are. Because it feels like a trap question.
Asking someone "Are you confident?" in this game shows there's a level of trust, which I don't have with any of you, and very likely will not have with any of you, D1.- joges

Maybe you're right about your case and I'm wrong? I don't know. But I would find it hard to lynch him today because of that post. It stands out to me specifically because I'm the one he forgot, and therefore I get to have my opinion about it. I hope, if I'm around for it, that my D1 reads will differ from my D2 and so on. On D1 I like to find reasons not to lynch someone and reasons to lynch someone. D1 I take things a lot more personal, like you calling me stupid if I wasn't already feeling good about wanting you around D2 probably would have got you a scum read for the day because I would feel like I can't see a future working with you.In post 562, Ruby Red wrote:

i think it's a very town thing to do but i also think it's a pretty big mistake that people fall into and something that pretty often leads to them getting pocketed (not that slaxx was deliberately trying to pocket you with that post)
noIn post 561, Slaxx wrote:@Ruby, was it not implied in "Wolves don't do that"
I really don't like going in to "I think they're town/scum" (on D1) personally, but do it for the sake of having this conversation every game. In D1 no one has made any decisions that effect the game until someone hammers. Then there's people who decided to lynch and didn't. That's when people being town and scum can truly begin in my opinion.
I look at it like, you can't solve a puzzle without the first clue. The first clue, in my opinion, is the first lynch.- joges

This specifically, but let's not cloud the game up, I don't think it matters, I just felt it was hypocritical. Like you saying it's okay for you to townread someone for your personal reasons but not for someone else to do the same.you're falling into the classic trap of basing your reads too much off of yourself and not taking an objective standpoint- joges

What I'm saying is a bad reason is reading people basedspecifically on how they interact with your slot: that is, if i were to say "Mumble is town because he townreads me" or something similar. My townread on mumble has nothing to do with me specifically: it's mostly objective. Like, if I weren't actually a player in the game and I were just spectating, I would still have the read because it doesn't depend on anything that relates specifically to me.

If you want to tell me you're town, that's fine, but don't try to tell me the reason I should believe you are town is because a certain player has died. That's ridiculous. When I see your "LOLOLOLOLOLOL" it comes across as "I need to make this stand out as much as I can so everyone reads it and sees that this person is dead and I wouldn't kill them" It makes no sense, either, that if you were scum that you would let someone town live simply because "I really want them to play a town game" How does that even make sense? When has any scum ever looked at the player base and went:In post 914, Flavor Leaf wrote:Hmm. On one hand, it kinda can seem townie, but that’s why it could be scummy.
It’s also annoying how he talks about himself that way, but didn’t like when I brought it up about me being town for an actual reason, and then I event said don’t actually use that, but just have it there.
I think it’s NAI, at the moment, but in conjunction with more later, it might turn scum AI.

I'm not scum, I'm a shitty Vig though. I would say this, N1, if there were to be someone who protected someone, they might have stopped a scum kill, unless scum and I both went after same person. I shot Nips and FL. I crumbed in 543.
I shot both of them because they were off the Slaxx wagon. Nips posted after Slaxx's vengful claim, and I thought maybe it was scum avoiding the wagon. I shot FL because I will always hate any post like they started D2 with and because they weren't on the wagon.
I'm claiming now because I've done a poor job.- joges
