Yay I am feeling NO over NE or LAC

I think Mitch has done enough for Chicago to give him another year, but I personally don't think he is that good. Bears got a history of rolling with bad qbs longer than they should, and I don't see that stopping yet. Nagy will give him another try, after all Bears won't be drafting early next year

I mean it's his second year. Surely he gets more than 3 years to "prove" himself.

Given how this year went, he will get a 3rd year as bears won't draft early and or want a qb. Nagy should be able to do more with mitch next year

If they have a down year where the defense is not enough to carry them, kinda like what happened in Jacksonville, 3-4 years may be all he gets.

I change my mind constantly but at this very moment I'd say Pats over Eagles in the Superbowl. NE isn't overwhelming favorites in the AFC because they have notable weaknesses, and to me that's when Belichick coached-teams are at their most dangerous in the play-offs, when teams take them too lightly. Philly with Foles just has this it factor where the faith his team have in him makes them all suddenly better, plus they're real mad at the Saints for destroying them during the season.

Ask me tomorrow and I'll tell you that it'll be Chargers/Saints or Chiefs/Cowboys or whatever, though.

its probably easier just to list who won't be going because the teams are pretty level this year
but in the NFC, Saints are surely the favorites
That said, I'd love to see a Dallas v. Philly NFC championship for the simple fact that the entire NFC East was written off for dead about half way through the season and Washington looked to be taking the Division by default until their QB1 and QB2 broke their legs

In the AFC all three of the non-Pats teams have playoff demons (perhaps not so much Indy) so it makes one reluctant to go against the Pats. At the same time, I think all three of them are playing better than the Pats. I generally don't like to complain about this, but the Pats 2 seed is very much a product of the AFC East this year. Hopefully Allen and Darnold will bring some competition back in the long run.

I like the hires Broncos and Bucs are making. I like what Kitchens did this year as Offensive Co-ordinator for Browns, but he has never been a Coach. If they wanted to hire from within and reward the team on what they did without Hue, they should have hired Greg since he was the coach and has more experience. I'm optimistic Kitchens could do well, but if we don't get a really good Defensive Co-ordinator, I think we are in trouble.

Edit: Not liking the Cards or Jets hires. Jets need to stop focusing on beating the pats. They need a coach that will help them beat everyone as getting wins over only the patriots does not get them into playoffs

So Pats vs. Chiefs in the AFC @ Arrowhead

and Rams vs. (probably, hopefully) Saints.

Hopefully the conference games are much better than what the rest of the playoffs have been. Oh, the Rams-Cowboys was actually good.

interesting that fate decided to demonstrate in a single game the reason the Iggles play better with Foles than Wentz
Theyre all injured apparently

Not surprising outcomes, but fuck the Pats. Boston doesn't deserve to have nice things, and fuck those cheaters.

KC hopefully grinds NE into the ground. Rooting for the Rams over the Saints, but pretty okay with either of them winning.

I think Dallas was the better team (especially after the Eagles lost a number of key players). So I'd give LA the edge in the NFC
Pats vs KC will likely come down to if Pats D can scheme for KC. Actually more likely to come down to bad clock management for Big Red

I can't wait for the Patriots to go back to being that spooky team that always has terrible seasons.

The Pats/Chiefs is a hard game to pick since you have an aging all time great quarterback and a rookie quartback in freezing temperatures. Lots of variables but I pick Chiefs 14-7.

For Rams/Saints I think Brees is the better quarterback so the Saints win 20-17(OT).

conditions lean Pats
also they have a knack for stopping high flying offenses
last year's SB seemed to be the exception

Brady's TD's are down and INT are up from last year. He wouldn't want to admit it but I think he's lost a step. Not that he's still not great but winning on the road in the playoffs is not an easy thing to ask.

Yeah, that was a blatant case of pass interference. But it equalled out the equally blatant face mask on Goff that went uncalled on the prior drive that forced the Rams to take the FG. The refs didn't cost the Saints the game, they screwed both teams equally with their ineptness.

yeah but there was a previous pass interference not called on the Rams. So the Rams got away with two PI calls. So yeah, Saints got kinda screwed.

Right call in the end, but that's going to be talked about forever. There was clear and obvious evidence that the ball
just
missed both thumbs and the shoulder when you put the pictures together.
