By the way I wasnt posting first half of the night because one of my roles says I cant do anything at night to unlock it. So i assumed i couldnt talk in night thread. But mod clarified it meant no actions by me. (Even tho i have no actions to do right now. I'm guessing when i unlock my ability from winning a mini game it's a night action.)

I have the distinct impression that succinct is pulling post numbers out of a hat because I follow none of their thought process.

The neighborhood succinct and I are in you get added to by performing an action on someone you did not intend to target. I know why I'm there. I imagine succinct/nibbui slot targeted NSG for the NK, then redirected onto RC due to RC's claim of enabling an ascetic/redirector effect, and I'm embarrassed at how long it took me to consider that. And then embarrassed that I held onto this sekrit of mine for so long, but I'm frankly timid af and considered it a tin foil hat conspiracy and not a definite thing but here now you all get to know because succinct bothers me

The only person in this game who was alive when I said that that i knew previously was Gamma Emerald, and I wont claim to have some insight into his brain when I haven't played with him for ages and I have the memory of a goldfish regardless and also meta is mostly turds

Chibis read list immediately bothered both me and nibbui, who seemed to have a simultaneous brain blast about it. I mused that while its surface level scummy, I'd think scum would probably fake one or two scumreads for the sake of completeness, and then I'm a sucker for AtE and boy did she do that

Every post that succinct has declared suspicious so far either appears to have been RNG'd out of a hat (because I have no idea where the fuck hes coming from) or otherwise ignores context and other details in an attempt to spin it the worst possible way. I only briefly skimmed the contrived bullshit that was making a wall of every single post in the neighborhood but I legitimately cant see how someone reads all of that and so confidently reaches the conclusion of "all of this is bad".

NSG can you confirm Nico as town? Because if you can then theres corroborating evidence and a larger town bloc and we dont even have to worry about a single mislynch, the game is solved and over and we just need to go through the motions of lynching them

ChibiBear and Kokichi Oma is an unlikely scenario. Either Succinct is lying or they were redirected or... or we have a godfather.
Because Nico+Kokichi/Chibi is entirely possible I cannot rule out Succinct being town and suffering from a godfather.
Succinct could also be mafia, and then all these clears are fake.

NK has fought valiantly but when you have to hypothesize about GodFathers in order to avoid pointing out that the PoE has fallen on you being the last puzzle piece you kinda have to know that you're fukt

Succinct, if you don't mind answering, why did you initially think you were redirected on N1? And how did mutant confirm that you weren't redirected?

To get into the PT we are in you need to target someone that you didn't intend to. Since Nibbui was added to the PT as a result of N1, it was a fair assumption that they were redirected. However, I also experienced something that Nibbui experienced when being added to the PT that is either the reason we were added or one hell of a coincidence. From that, we can then conclude that there is no redirector in this setup otherwise there would be more people in the PT.

Mutant is correct. The only way theres a straight up redirector at this point is if they've chosen not to use their ability yet this game for whatever reason. I'll note that its possibly someones quest or minigame role and they haven't unlocked it yet I suppose, but now we're straying off topic. The point is, so far we can confirm that no one has used redirection thus far

Succinct being town and the redirector being out of the way means that we have a POE of 4 for two scum(which includes me). So that would be good - we mislynched twice and I don't know which powers the enemies got.

I apparently can't. My trust in succinct is 100% a hail mary pass on him not being level 9000 galaxy brain scum plays and will rely entirely on us actually catching scum today, basically. If theres 3 scum, we should be in lylo (mylo?) tomorrow. I'd much rather avoid that.

I dont think you need to be told your setup was ambitious, but here I am telling you the setup was ambitious. I think it made for a lot more trouble than it was worth, both for you and your players. Minigames were a fun idea, but the disconnect between what the minigames were and the actual game made it feel like........idk? The quests were much better because they were actually related to game events, and a minigame designed to complement the game rather than being some auxiliary randomness would have been swell. I have no actual idea of how to implement that and I'm just talking shit I suppose, its just how i wound up feeling about them. I'm not a game designer by any means.

I think 1 minigame per day phase would have been much better in terms of balance, relevance, and not unnecessarily slowing the game. By day 3 every living player had a minigame role PM and none of them seemed to really matter, and so often we were twiddling our thumbs waiting for minigame 2 and not really playing the game in the meantime. 1 minigame to start the day phase and thats it would have felt a lot more meaningful.

I hate to take from the scum team, they played well. Nobody scumread mutant, he got town-bloc'ed even, and chibi would have only been PoE, and nico did what she had to by riding out a false positive innocent and letting town implode. But this loss was nearly entirely because town was dead set on losing this game at worst, and being utterly apathetic at best. Our mislynches were rc and varsoon having an out of game squabble culminating in fake claiming IC, followed by maria giving not a care, and then kokichi fake claiming IC. What were we supposed to do with that?

This is my last mafia game as a player, although I will still be sticking around to mod games. Playing mafia is just... Not for me. Actively observing is way more entertaining and also way less likely to give me an aneurysm.

Regardless of how little I deserved the victory, it wasn't our fault that town imploded on itself so I'm still counting it as a victory. Going out on a high note woot woot!
