I agree with Chara's .
VOTE: Varsoon

I don't think Enter's reactions to any of the votes have been particularly scummy. I think he's a bit above baseline town at this point. Like, this:
skitter wrote:and i kinda hate like every one of enter's posts?
is kind of very relatable. But his indignance reads somewhat town.

Does this phrasing tell you he's a newbie or an old player with a new alt?
It came up in the hood. It's an alt. He's tr1ckster, aka extrapolated eagle. I saw that he replaced into a newbie slot in a newbie game, but that's allowed if no real newbie replacements are available.
OK, so your voting him because he's NOT a newbie? In other words, you would have given him some slack had he been a newbie, but you're not accepting his play as an experienced player?

Spoiler: @ Percy
I am asking because your vote and reasoning behind it matter to me more than otherd at this time (early game). I fon't know Papa Zito that well, and tossing a coin would give me better results on implosion than my own reads. BEF is impulsive. I don't understand mqueens vote, and I asked before Varsoon had voted Enter. So, the only one I can actually get an explanation from is you.

Pf course, I could go with "there's no resistance to the wagon" to try and defend Enter, but I'd be a hypocrite because I actually do NOT have a read on Enter, and because early flash-wagons have netted us scum at least twice before (iirc those were games with Mathdino), so I;m neither for nor against the wagon on Enter.. until I get to understand it (ir until he gives me something to sink my teeth into).

So..

@Everyone voting Enter (aside from Percy, obviously): Please ISO him and let me know which post(s) make him a good lynch to you.
Sorry for the big block quote, I was answering this as my laptop died (I’m on mobile now). Literally any of his posts where he shades BEF for not doing anything, like 2 pages in.

I liked the reply. It’s not amazing, but early on it just seemed directly genuine. (No beating around the bush) Obviously it’s still early, but what’s wrong with that giving me town vibes for the moment?

I was hesitant to vote but people kept hounding me for not doing so. It was a bit awkward, but I decided to throw my vote out there.

I mean it’s clear I was pushing Enter, regardless, so the vote doesn’t mean much right now. As skitter said, it’s still very early. Had he not already had multiple votes on him, I may have been quicker to place one.

To my recollection you said you hated each and every single post of his, which is a notion I certainly do NOT share. I thus would appreciate it if you included 2-3 quotes and specified what exactly you hated about them.

i'm sort of townreading this reply.

skitter: i'd love to hear about those pings! but i'm not especially good at reading Almost. i'm hovering around being paranoid of town Almost and too trusting of scum him, so giving him breathing room is my current tactic.

Enter Wagon Stage Left

Sorry I couldn't resist.
In post 90, skitter30 wrote:

Also don't understand the Enter wagon at all.
yeah sometimes
whether or not the claim is germane to his actual role is a different story

and i kinda hate like every one of enter's posts?
what are you thinking about him?

==
In post 78, Enter wrote:Yep. We'll get to them later. You seem like you're building a case. Wanna drop a vote?
yeah i'm thinking about it
kinda trying to gauge if what i'm not liking is a personality/playstyle thing and not a scum thing; i can't tell yet

==
In post 78, Enter wrote:Also in the post where you place your vote, please also talk about misrepping me by pretending my first question was serious when I already said it wasn't.
not sure what your'e referring to

if you're talking about the statement thing - when you said you weren't being serious i thought you were referring to not being serious about calling implosion's papa zito read an actual scumread. the reason why it's confusing for me is because your whole interaction there is like very weirdly accusatory and it seemed to me like you were seriously pushing implosion for making a statement instead of a question (which is, imo, an absurd reason to push someone)

idk your tone is very very very weird and like you say it isn't serious but the way you present things makes me think you think you're making valid points (when you're not) and i can't tell if i'm misreading what you mean in the first place or if your'e walking back things when people object to what you're saying.

also you ignored me pointing out that your reason for scumreading bef rn is quite awful, and calling the wagon 'relevant' does not, in fact, add legitimacy to the that read
You should vote me now that I'm back at L-2. It will be fun, I promise.

I somehow missed this, and I apologize. It's extra awkward because I can't remember if I was talking to McQueen or implosion, but I think it must have been McQueen, because implosion is still on one of the only two wagons of relevance.

UNVOTE:

Can you explain what makes a wagon relevant
'cus I'd say yours being at L-2 when I voted made it incredibly relevant.
I still don't know why a lot of people started voting you, but apparently you're in a neighborhood? Does that have to do with it?

@Chara: Why not A50, who threatened to hammer?
Feels like you might be tilting a bit much here.
I still don't understand why Enter's wagon flew up to L-2 so fast, but Enter seeming to have hard dodged that made me want to put real pressure there. I trusted we wouldn't have a Boonskies situation and see a quickhammer.

Almost's was an explicit joke, as you said.
what makes you think i'm tilted? we've barely begun, i'd think it's far too early to say that.

it'd be nice if Enter answered, but that he missed one question came off as a "dodge" to you just seemed a little too much for the L-1 vote, it's like you went straight to that.
and lolhammers happen all the time.

I'd say two things make a wagon relevant: size and reasoning.

And I'd agree that my wagon is one of the two most relevant wagons right now.

i mean, there is certainly the possibility. i’m not sure what you’ve said in your PT, but if you’re not masons, my initial intuition would be to trust no one. as you develop reads in the game, it’s possible to rule people out, but still be careful as to what information you give up. basically the same as the main thread, lol.

Is it "fashionably late" if both the term and trueness of it is at least a decade and a half out of style?
As far as bailing on wagons goes, well one person doing so is fine, as L-1 is pretty dangerous. But at a safer L-2, why did you unvote, Varsoon? Could have let some of that pressure linger a bit.
@mcqueen, are you usually sparse with your votes? I'm not exactly trigger happy myself but RVS is RVS, and if you have a halfway decent reason to vote anyway, why not? Are you unsure of something?
also, with so many people in the neighborhood, there is almost definitely at least one scum (or possible other faction), unless the mod just wanted to mess with us.
