It seems like an improvement to allow the player chosen to be lynched to make the next random roll, for somewhat of an obvious reason.It's always the same. Not necessarily. It might still be a good idea to play D1, or at least play D1 until we get to a consensus townread to start off the random lynching. (That way town can feel comfortable with that person excluding themself and their lover from the first random pool.)
The plan could be improved further with a consensus locktown read picking every random lynch and excluding themself and their lover from every pool, though the EV of that is obviously dependent on the chance that the player selected for this would be scum.It's always the same. I never said I couldn't play a normal game, but this plan provides a good EV with relatively little risk of giving away lover pairings. It's at least worth considering and thinking critically about.In post 124, Eragon wrote:

I've already given away a few people I'm not lovers with, and so have a lot of people... I'm concerned about our ability to play the game normally when we all have secret information we can't reveal.
Perhaps the best route is to follow my plan but have lynches be selected rather than randomized. Under that plan, we vote on a consensus townread to pick the first lynch victim. Then that victim discussed with their lover and says who the next one should be, then we lynch them and the cycle repeats.
