The scumteam is aware of the existence of a traitor, but not his/her identity.
A traitor is endgamed if he/she is the last surviving Mafia.

Especially since we don't have an agreed-upon nomenclature.
So when I see 'traitor' I just have to try to infer what that means and hope the mod's iteration is the same as the wiki's.

I believe they should inherit Ascetic from the same alignment, but I haven't seen that interaction so can't say for sure.

Actually, let's make it public.

I'm an alt of Eddie Cane. I believe about half the game knows me. I played two games on this alt with the intention of trying very fucking hard and pulling out everything I could. The first went a lot better than this one (shoutout Dann). I fucked up on KMD's name at the beginning and had to correct lmao.


I want to be clear. I don't think I played a bad game. This town was

very

hard to work with. There was a lot of slots doing nothing, very little motivation, and scum was playing well (really, I don't think killing rb is a bad kill aside from the fact he happened to be traitor). I had a very rough early game from my reads, but I don't think town wins this if I didn't play as I did at the end so :shrug:

I actually really like the idea of a Traitor with the scumteam having a Loyal Neighborizer and might swipe that for a game I run eventually.

unfortunately it got kind of destroyed night 1, but i think it would've been interesting

the setup was made with a few misconceptions in mind: that Kmd's neighborizing action would be trackable even if he targeted town (it isn't) and that Universal Backups inherit x-shot roles with all of their original shots, namely. i probably would have done something different had i known previously.


in the end i don't think the setup ended up actually affecting the game that much or being all that interesting, but the game itself made up for it.

@NSG: Why not make the traitor Bulletproof? At least then if the kill fails on them, scum's just down one night but not out a kill and a team mate. Traitor should always be used as a .5 member anyway, not as a full member.

i didn't really consider the possibility that the traitor would get shot, honestly. even if i had, i'm not sure if the scumteam would really need the extra power.

all of this chat has made me remember to release the setup thread, though, so let me get on that.
