But with the same context of why you modkilled Korlash, wouldn't Oman be modkilled for saying
To tell you the truth, Korlash could've been fakeclaiming guard as king.

NOTE: I am not saying he is or isn't, just that he could've.
Did Korlash need to have that note to be safe? That seems like a Wifom and you just said you didn't want this to turn into a WIFOM test. Logically and fairly I see no reason why Oman has not been modkilled for the same reason as Korlash.

If all is fair in love and war, they should at least also be fair in mafia games.

That doesn't have "No apparent reason" Its obvious. I said it because you are.

Our "speedlynch" strat would have suggested this is optimal
Poker wrote: starting a bunch of wagons (The second assassin wagon hoped insane style in the large AiTP2),
Hey, for once a game that encourages wagoning like I enjoy doing. How do I not take advantage of that. Also, as assasin I'd be wary of starting wagons. Especially because starting a wagon on a king can give away an assasin in a heartbeat. Even though it could be a guard throwing the scum off.
Poker wrote:giving suspicion lists (see the first assassin in AiTP1),
I find them as good. For one thing it can point to assasin in the wrong direction. I don't think you understand we can't just lynch guards from now.
Poker wrote:And talk about flip flop. You are first to realize speed lynching is good. Then you say its bad.
You've never come up with a new thought during a mafia game? You've never established something then figured out its wrong?

Look at it this way:
Assasin lynched D1 - 1/8 chance of hitting king.

Speedlynch a few guards
Assasin lynched D4 (cause you'll lynch a guard today (me)) - 1/5 chance

Miss him for a while longer - 1/3, 1/2 etc.

So yeah, I figured out we can't just blindly speedlynch.

I think we can all agree that we need to hear from Shamrock before we proceed.

I see a distinction. Korlash named a specific person as the king. It's true that I said speculation can lead to a modkill, but I didn't want to do two of them and Korlash's statement was more egregious. Besides, let's not go ret-conning. Day 2 is already over.

Also, in the future, I would appreciate if these points were brought up in a PM rather than in public. Thanks.

I would ask why dahill is off your list, but we shouldn't give assassin much info. But I was gonna

Dahill picked up that I was a guard. If he used the quite obvious crumb i dropped, he's guard as can be.

Oman. From what I can see most people were in support of a quick lynch. Your logic against me fails.

When you play this game on IRC you swim in alot of WIFOM. Shenanigans are allowed there and are effective since those games are in real time when confusion is strongest. In the past forum runnings of this game the style is keep your mouth shut and try to find the accurate lynches quickly. The style Oman wants to use here allows for wifom along with the quick lynches. Its different and yet a combination of the two. I guess we can give it a shot, but at the rate things are going no one is going to get lynched unless everybody that hasn't posted in awhile does. I probably owe Korlash an apology for the general tactical disagreement.
