I found it very easy to move off Eragon, which suggests to me I already townread him on subconscious level. I don't think I can articulate my read there quite yet though.

The pace has been slow and quite manageable for a game with the blitz title, you coming in and shading people before reading the thread is the only toxic thing that has happened this game. Gotta be honest this sounds like bullshit to me. Slaxx replaced into a game that has 18 hours on the clock and even after he made his initial comment he still made a priority interacting with me rather than asking for any summary. There's two people that mechanically can be lynched and he still hasn't really given a read of either one, but he *immediately* went for shade on me without critically thinking about why we would have mixed feelings on the lynch options.

I've replaced into games low on the clock before and I can tell you the first thing I look at is what wagons are developed, what lynches look like they will or will not happen, and then I prioritize my understanding of the player that is most likely to get lynched in that scenario.

Like, Slaxx wants to put on a show of doing a catchup, but I don't see why he wouldn't just start with TGP and AP in iso and evaluate each of them independently. Why do you not think he entered the game with an agenda to either gain towncred or to start shading people looking at a weird wagon?

Lovers, usually, is primarily negative utility and pts should not make up for that.

I think that's still right... and actually tgp's role makes me think it may be more true. Say there is a pt cop--the neghborhood would then actually be doubling down on negative utility on top of the lover's mechanic.

Basically, Mallard strongly scumreads McQueen, and I null-scumlean McQueen and townread Slaxx. Given that, if we are lynching McQueen, I would rather it be after the lovers mechanic dissolves.

Mallard townleans Aronis's apathy and ate toward the lynch, I definitely do not but we do both agree on redtea, so here's my thought:

I'd like RedTea, in that case, to offer his choice out of Aronis (who he seems to want to lynch anyway) or someone else. Since Aronis has refused to offer a dance, I'd like RedTea to make the offer, and see what Aronis does with that.

if red is scum, then yes, you are right that there must already be someone bussing. but given that is the case, if you leave your vote on my slot and I am town, then all the bussing scum has to do is double vote my slot near deadline to win the game

actually this isn't even correct, if red is scum there can easily be two scum off the wagon

so your play basically only makes sense if you're confident red is town, because assuming there is a bus at this point is actually unwarranted, the wagon could be all town... why even would there need to be a bus with the level of apathy in the thread? if your intention is to evaluate the player list, wouldn't it make more sense to evaluate the non-voters?

I don't want to tinfoil too hard but there's part of me that's worried that part of the scum team can't coordinate well and that's why McQueen just left his vote on me, given how little interest he has had in actually talking with me despite 'using the day' being the logic there.

Since all three scum are still alive, if one out of {AP, Labby} is scum then all they would need to do is have one person change wagons and have another person vote me before EoD timer.

So, I do think town should actually just vote Redtea. We don't need to use the plurality mechanic and we don't need to go to deadline. In any case, the gamestate is less open to scum opportunism with 4 votes on Redtea at least to prevent a sudden shift in wagon.

Maybe everyone has stopped caring given how boring the redtea wagon is, but we still shouldn't let ourselves be set up for a throw from EoD plurality mechanics.

Am I pocketed, Slaxx? Because so far 99% of your read on McQueen seems to come from PT interactions, whereas so far this game he has:
a)danced with you for stupid reasons
b)thrown a dance on a townread in mylo
c)presented the only counter-wagon the day redtea was getting lynched

Like, I have seen town McQueen, and he is not THIS AWFUL at mechanics. Fucking up TWO dances I *choose to believe* is outside his townrange. I do feel like I am sometimes wrong when I say things like this, but he has been incredibly lurky, he put a naked vote on us to "start conversation" and then proceeded to say nothing interesting, and then claimed a bunch of nonsense about his role and voted us again in mylo.

Anyway, you still have a chance of convincing Mallard, but this head would be too disappointed in this being town McQueen to believe he is town before seeing a flip.

I feel like Town!McQueen is a pretty capable player and he seems beyond lost here, which would make sense if his scumbuddy was RedTea, so he made it his personal agenda to pocket you instead.

Scum!McQueen would also likely infer that there's a chance that a scum!Dancemaster would eventually flip, so he would have a *particular incentive to partner and play up PT interactions*

He could not have known that the town!dancemaster would flip day 1, before he made it such a big point to pair with you.

Like, it is entirely plausible that the third scum (probably not RedTea) said "we have a scum dancemaster, so we should make sure we get into PTs early and play it up)

vis-a-vis, McQueen insists he dances with you.

McQueen's play this game makes much more sense to me as a contrived scum strategy that wasn't fully thought through rather than a town strategy that flies in the face of the mechanics of the setup

I feel like I cannot comment on the setup because I feel like we didn't even play the setup. The only duel in the ballpark of town strategy was day 1 and then there were so many indifferent town that the uncc'd tpr got lynched. After that town just refused at every turn to do anything protown when it came to dance lynches. At least redtea was scum. The others.... smh

Sorry for that hostile vote post mcqueen but I was pretty frustrated with how this game played out. Anyway I don't think I'll out my main... I'd have to be a crazy diva to want to be associated with my play here.
