I'm so happy I found you my dragon! That sure was a tic tac d'oh.

So my story. I went into this cool looking castle like basement near the garden in hotel national and this gardener follows me and I thought he was going to scold me. Instead he opens up the door and says follow me so my group followed him into the tunnels because I was hoping to get in there just to see anyway. I speak to him in Spanish just to be nice and then he stops in front of an exhibit tells me everything in Spanish and tells me he didn't want to speak in English so I need to translate for my group. I didn't know this was a tour so I obliged because it was great history anyway and then other random people joined us and he said that I'm the tour guide now and to explain to them all. So then in the end I asked for tips but they all left before I could earn my fee. It was a hidden military bunker during the crisis.
Sup, later.

From a bone-chillingly cold Internet Television Studio in northeast Ohio, it's everybody's game of strategy, knowledge & fun. It's
Tic
Tac
Dough
! And now, here's your host, a d20 that only seems to roll well on Perception checks,
Xalxe
!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you all so much! You're lovely, you really are, I love you all. You're spectacular. Never change.

Last episode we saw our seemingly undefeatable juggernaut fall at the hands of our brand new champion. What will we see today? Let's find out!

First, our returning champion, with a win under his belt and $3500 in his pocket, it's
pablito
!

And our new challenger, a semi-professional Xalxe impersonator, it's
Allomancer
!

Wonderful to have you both with us today, thanks for ditching your parole officers to be here. Let's take a look at today's board!

Image

She's beautiful, ain't she? Now, pablito, as our returning champion, you're up first. You'll pick a category and answer a question. Get it right, you add money to the pot and claim the square. First to get three in a row wins! The outside squares are worth $500 each, while the center is a two-parter and worth $1000.

And of course, there's a couple of red categories up there for you. The
Secret Category
is the same as always, it could be a question about anything! Get it right and you double whatever the current pot is.
Number Please
is special to us, it's what let pablito defeat the legendary xofelf. The player who chooses it answers a question with a numerical answer. Their opponent then declares whether the correct answer is HIGHER or LOWER than the answer given. Get it right and you get the square!

So,
pablito
, you're up first as our current champion. What piques your interest?

Thanks for having me back! I didn't expect to be here twice, but I'm back because now that I've found love, my next goal is to hire the dragon to be the next apprentice in the dragon's den.

Oh dear, I don't like these categories at all. I came in like a man with a plan and not like a dog with a blog. But now I am going against the strategy and I'll pick Actors. Because I am not one.

It is my absolute pleasure to have you back. Alright, Actors! Remember that all the center squares are two-part questions worth $1000.

Actors

Rapper and actor O’Shea Jackson, Jr. portrayed his father in what 2015 biopic?

Ah, I'm sorry, the answer was actually Straight Outta Compton! He plays his dad, who you may know as Ice Cube.

Let's get a new center square!

You sound so confident! Don't be nervous, I know the studio lights are warm and bearing down on you, but you get used to it!

Holidays

November has both Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving, so what's the other one?
Lets go with January and November. January has New Year's Day at least, and oh yeah, MLKJ Day! That was just the other day! January and November!

Edit was changing Armistice Day to Veteran's Day. Don't disqualify me for editing posts. I didn't change the answer.

I'll permit the time travel this time, but you're on thin ice, detective!

You are also, of course, absolutely correct! And you named the holidays too!

To food we go! You're gonna share, right?

Food

What four-letter French term refers to a paste or spread made of finely ground meat, usually served as an hors d'oeuvre?

Sure, if you like eating liver.

Speaking of liver, I do enjoy liver pate. I actually did not start eating pate in France. I was in Romania when I was in a grocery store with a group of 3 Aussie girls I met at the train station on my way to Dracula's castle and they bought pate because it was cheap. I followed their lead and bought a loaf of bread and have enjoyed it with crackers or bread since then. Was the cheapest way to eat in Eastern Europe.

I hope the answer is pate'.

Umm Xalxe, I don't WANT to interfere the gameplay but if I recall correctly, you allowed me yesterday to make a remark on the game's functionality after the previous episode would end.
But you started the next episode straight away, sooo, I reckoned I should reply either way.

Let me think, Britain would've controlled India at the time, and Britain and China had some war over opium at one point. So for lack of a better answer, the Opium War?
