Characters are assiged ratings for six major attributes:
Stregth, Dexterity, Knowledge, Perception, Technical and Mechanical - They are assigned a rating that shows how good they are at that attribute, usually between 1D and 5D but it can be higher as well. 2D is average for a normal person and 3D is average for a heroic character. The D represents how many dice you roll on a skill check, for example if you have 3D on Strength you would roll 3 six sided dice and add them together.
There are also a multitude of skills under the various attributes that are more specific, such as Blaster, Dodge, Brawling, Starship Piloting, Con, Bargain, etc. You will have the opportunity to improve your character as time goes on with character points. You get force points that can make it easier to accomplish tasks and dark side points for doing evil acts and you could eventually turn to the dark side, losing control of your character permanantly. You can also die from being wounded in battle, starvation, etc.
Each skill roll has a "difficulty check" based on how difficult it is for what you are trying to do. 5 is very easy, 10 is easy, 15 is moderate, 20 is difficult, and 30 is heroic. If you are doing something of moderate difficulty, and have 3D skill rating, you would roll 3 six sided dice and try to beat 15 to be successfull.
Each player will have an initiative score during combat based on their perception. Highest initiative goes first and downward.
A combat round lasts 5 seconds. If you try and do more than one thing at a time, your rating for each skill goes down by 1D.Last edited by YellowSnow on Wed Jan 30, 2019 10:26 am, edited 6 times in total.- YellowSnow

You get an extra force point which will allow you to do extra skill checks.
But it also makes it more likely for you to get dark side points if you do something bad.
You've developed emotional telepathy which allows you to sense each other's feelings even from great distances.- YellowSnow

According to the wiki:
So it appears Ewoks have traditional gender structure.wiki wrote:Unmarried male Ewoks spent much of their time living alone in the forest building their own small huts near enough to the tree city to assist the Ewoks in work. Unmarried females would leave gifts of food, clothing, or weaponry on the doorsteps of unmarried males as a sign of their attraction and to tell how much the village missed them and wished they would come back as part of a family and as the female's mate.
If the male Ewok decided to take a mate, he had to build a family hut in the tree city where he and his mate could live. The construction of a new hut signaled that the male had decided to take a mate, at which point all of the unmarried females would try to woo him. Until his home was finished, the male did not decide whom he was taking. The chosen female had the right to refuse the male or the hut he had built.- YellowSnow

So unfortunately binary is not a gender option for Ewoks, only male or female, due to low level medical technology on their home world of Endor.
This confirms that Ewoks have a tribal level of technology on their homeworld and would not have the medical expertise for gender manipulation surgery.wiki wrote:The Ewoks used a variety of weapons that included knives, stone spears, slingshots, and bows and arrows. During the Battle of Endor, they threw large rocks at stormtroopers, used ropes to dismount scout troopers from their 74-Z speeder bikes (breaking the scout troopers' necks in the process[21]), and used logs to trip and crush AT-STs.Last edited by YellowSnow on Mon Jan 28, 2019 8:23 am, edited 1 time in total.- YellowSnow

An ewok jedi would be extremely rare in this time period because there are no known records of any ewok jedi previous to ANH and there are no jedi instructors due to the order 66 purge.Last edited by YellowSnow on Mon Jan 28, 2019 8:32 am, edited 1 time in total.- YellowSnow

Force Points: You may use a force point to make it more likely to complete a skill check. Most characters start with 1 force point, force sensitive characters start with 2. Use of a force points double your skills for one round. Your ability to keep your force points depends on how you use the force point.
1) For a heroic act in a dramatically appropriate moment - You keep your force point AND get an extra force point.
2) For a heroic act - You keep your force point.
3) For a selfish or unheroic act - You lose the force point.
4) For an evil act - You gain a dark side point.
Character points - Character points can be used to permanantly increase your characters stats at the end of an adventure or for a one time increase of a roll.
To use to increase roll - 1 character point allows you to increase all stats by 1D, 2 character points for 2D, etc. If you want to use it to permanantly increase your stats you can use 2 points to increase a 2D skill one pip, 3 points to increase a 3D skill one pip, etc. You get extra character points at the end of the adventure to supplement your character points.
Dark Side Points - If you commit an evil act, or even a selfish act if you are using a force point and you are force sensitive, you gain a dark side point and may turn to the dark side. You roll 1D and if the roll is less than the number of dark side points you have you lose control of your character permanantly to the dark side. You may create another character in this case.- YellowSnow

STAR WARS: THE ROLEPLAYING GAME
EPISODE 1
A Long Time Ago, In A Galaxy Far, Far Away
It is a period of civil war. Luke Skywalker has just recently
destroyed the Death Star, but the EVIL GALACTIC EMPIRE
still maitains its evil grip across the galaxy.
Elsewhere, thousands of brave freedom fighters join the
fledgling REBEL ALLIANCE in a seemigly insurmountable
task to bring peace and prosperity to the galaxy.
Meanwhile, on the star shipTaleon's Goldfour
brave new recruits travel to a remote space station.
Little do they know they may be in for more than they
bargained for...
EXTERIOR: SPACECRAFT IN SPACE. The Imperial
Star Destroyer Relentless docks with Kwenn Space
Station.
INTERIOR: IMPERIAL STAR DESTROYER - AU-
DIENCE CHAMBER. Twin blast doors slide open,
revealing the dark interior of a massive chamber. An
Imperial captain stands upon a high platform , flank-
ed by lower officers. Two stormtroopers march in. They
drop a manacled prisoner at the feet of Captain Parian,
commander of the warship.
"The charge,” dem ands Parian.
“Piracy, sir," snaps a trooper.
"Kill the scum," Parian replies coldly.
“Wait!" scream s the prisoner, “I have something to
bargain with. Information important to the Emperor
. . . in exchange for my life."
Parian’s dead eyes gleam triumphantly. “Go ahead.
I'm all ears."
"Tallon . . . it concerns Adar Tallon ...”
Parian listens intently to the pirate's tale, then issues
orders. Quietly, Ensign Dana pockets a data storage pad
and slips away.
The commander issues on e final order “Lieutenant
Voor, send for the bounty hunters."
Fade to . . .
INTERIOR: KWENN SPACE STATION.
Kwenn Space Station
You are approaching the Kwenn Space Station aboard the
Taleon's Goldrespoding to a distress signal from
imperial undercover agent Dana, who you have arranged to
meet at the Kwenn Space Station...
Adventure Script:
1st Rebel: Are you sure this is where we're supposed to meet this Dana person?
2nd Rebel: Sure I'm sure! This is the place in her message — Kwenn Space Station.
3rd Rebel: Yup, good ol' Kwenn. The final fuel and supply point before the Outer Rim Territories. Why would Dana choose such a desolate place for pick up?
4th Rebel: Probably because her last mission was an undercover assignment aboard the Star Destroyer Relentless.
5th Rebel: You mean she was on that Imperial monstrosity parked outside?
6th Rebel: Not only on it, she served as an officer these past few months, gathering all kinds of information for the Alliance.
4th Rebel: Still, her mission had another few weeks to go. I wonder why she decided to jump ship early?
5th Rebel: Her message sounded urgent. Code Green — Agent in trouble, pick up immediately.
6th Rebel: And she mentioned the name Adar Tallon.
2nd Rebel: Everyone got excited about that. Clue me in, who is this Adar Tallon person?
1st Rebel: What planet are you from? Commander Tallon was a hero back before the Empire, in the days of the Old Republic.
3rd Rebel: He was a brilliant tactician and naval officer. His space-fighting strategies and maneuvers were years ahead of their time, and are still used by us and the Imperials.
2nd Rebel: You mean the guy whose statues were torn down by the Emperor a while back? That Adar Tallon? I thought he was dead.
6th Rebel: He is. Commander Tallon died fighting pirates in Dalchon sector. His ship was obliterated. No wreckage, no survivors, nothing! Heck, there wasn't even enough left to give him a decent burial.
1st Rebel: Don't be gross. Let's just get to the rendezvous point, find Dana, and get back to our ship. I'll feel a whole lot better with some distance between us and that Star Destroyer out there.
3rd Rebel: She should be right around the next bend.
4th Rebel:There she is! But hey, wasn't she supposed to be alone?
5th Rebel: You know, I've got a bad feeling about this.
This would be read by players on a tabletop game, but can't be really done in a forum setting, I want you to have the context of the start of the adventure though...- YellowSnow

There, near a rapidly closing airlock, you see agent
Dana lying at the feet of an Imperial officer. You
recognize her from the holofile in your ship’s
com puter. Next to the Imperial are two rough and
dangerous-looking customers: a short, wiry female
in padded armor, and a tall, scaley humanoid armed
with a blaster rifle. Behind them, beyond the airlock,
stands a figure dressed in deadly Mandalorian bat-
tle armor. He glares at you, then the door slams shut.- YellowSnow

John - Gambler 14
Aral - Senatorial 13
Dee - Historian 12
Teemai - Ewok 15
Lizard 9
Imperia 6
Mandalorian 9
So the Ewok has the first action.
You need to declare each action you want to take, like I want to "shoot at X" or "run away" or "dodge". If you think you are going to be shot at you may want to dodge and if you DODGE and SHOOT or DODGE and do something else it's -1D from all skills for each extra thing you do beyond 1. If I'm not around you may declare your actions based on the initiative order.- YellowSnow
