Mechanically, at least one of these is false:

why is pink more likely lying than Clem?

1. Pink Ball's claimed role fits as a scum role in this setup, especially knowing mod meta.
   
2. Clemency as scum has no reason to fakeclaim VT.
   
3. Pink Ball's claimed failure's convenient for not giving a clear in lylo and explaining why Pink Ball didn't die last night.
   
4. Pink Ball's reaction to my result, if Pink Ball were town, should've been immediately voteparking on me, as to Pink Ball, if Pink Ball were town and knew they were roleblocked, my claim would immediately be suspect.
   
5. Pink Ball's play doesn't match prior game behavior.

I started today thinking my action failed because Clemency's role was Hider/Commuter. Clemency's VT claim changed that. Objectively, Clemency could still be a Hider/Commuter, if the VT claim was a lie. You're quite correct that's doubtful. Objectively, my slot could be scum lying; I obviously know otherwise. Thus, my suspicion primarily lies on you, whose play matches scum fakeclaiming.

I know one's not true and doubt the other.
My main objective is to sort who's Pink Ball's partner. I started today thinking it was Purrcocet, but I'm less sure now.

I'm trying to figure out why scum would roleblock the Doughboy-Succint slot.
If the scumteam is Pink/Purc -- why not block one of the unclaimed players (TTTT or Clem)?
If the scumteam is Clem/{Pink/Purrc] -- why not block {Pink/Purrc}?

Succint could be scum JOAT who has a 1-shot neighborizer
this kinda makes sense with schadd being town JOAT with a friendly neighbor shot
but I still don't see Doughboy replacing out like that as scum

Assume scum have a JOAT. Assume a shot's RB...and the second shot's a rolecop. Assume Purr's role is real; Purr can't be the JOAT. Assume the JOAT rolecopped N1. Assume they rolecopped a living player.

Logically it then follows, they likely rolecopped a VT, and knew to roleblock and nightkill elsewhere.

If Purr was scum with PB, then there's no way they'd have identified both VT claims.

Whereas if a VT claim was scum with PB, then the conclusion is obvious: the other VT claim was rolecopped, leaving scum free to block DB. They wouldn't block Purr, because they knew Purrcocet's role; they wouldn't block the VT because they knew it'd be a waste.
