town started off hella strong. IMO. felt like there was little room to maneuver.

The Shoshin lynch shocked the hell outa me.

Slax seemed very townie to me in his advances. Granted I'm on the end with all the info. I think Cheekys slot was what held him down and spurred on his defeatist attitude in the end. His replace in really made it harder on Oka and I.

Slaxx was terrific, and if we had managed to lynch a second scum, I wouldn't have pushed him.
But when we kept whiffing, it was hard to ignore cheeky's play.

I guess if someone wants to argue this, I'd hear them out but this is one of those things town should just not do. If you have to lie about your reads to push your worldview, it probably means you should reevaluate your reasoning
shoshin ghosted, too. I think there is a 0% chance we lynch that slot d2 if that doesn't occur
As I guess must usually be the case when town snatches defeat from the jaws of victory, there were A LOT of things that went right for scum in days 2-5
I hope I didn't sound to short or dickish this game!
I'm more fun and enjoyable when I'm town. Scum causes me to overanalyze and come across as a super serious person.

Shoshin ghosted, but the way she generated reads to me is a typical town tell. She wasn't keeping doors open, and was locking a number of people into town slots. I generally consider that type of play to be more of a pro town attitude than scum. However going quite during a majority of a dayphase is usually never a good idea. Paranoia is a biiiiiitch.

Pre-edit:
Awwh thanks!
LOL you'll see me in the dead chat constantly telling Oka,

agreed. I worked to find a scum read during her wagon, but could not do it.

I felt like a dick when I said,
"I don't need to play 20 questions to make up my mind."

fact is, I didn't know what to say or ask so I was like, whelp time to be a dick. I thought if I tried to pair you with Slaxx knowing he'd flip town... it'd help make me look townier because why would scum knowingly try and pair someone to Scum!someone-else when I knew they'd flip town.
North is the last game I played under her made a bunch of person notes as mod. I'm hoping the same happened here as I found them entertaining to interesting.

That's interesting. I think I was self-conscious about being the top poster in a geriatric and thought it might have been a game culture thing.

i'm not sure this game ended up needing to actually be geriatric
it doesn't seem to me like spam would have been a problem if the ruleset
weren't
in place, so if it ever stopped someone from making post they otherwise would have made, i see it only as affecting the game negatively, to be honest.

i'll make one for anyone who requests one. sometimes i'll just use a text document to keep notes, but occasionally i'll ask for one. i think they're pretty helpful and are interesting to look back on after a game is done. they can help you see where you went wrong and perhaps help to avoid making similar mistakes in the future.
