We just need to tread carefully because if you slip up around her as scum she notices and will tear your spine out and slap you to death with it. (I'm slightly scared of Nancy)

Nancy-scum feels like a hot knife slicing through butter. Nancy-town feels like a magnifying glass in the sun glaring down at an insect.
I guess I had no idea how to correctly parse this joke. I'm not trying to be unfunny, but ascetic was a giftable prize n1 so maybe you can understand why I wanted to make sure here

What is this in reference to?
scum SS possibility

5ish votes i'd expect, unless scum group on someone

So is ss and McQueen
Can everyone take a moment to realise how bad their last minute wagon on me was
This is some grade A bussing if Xtoxm is scum
fun to think about but I find it pretty unlikely rn
In post 7560, Jingle wrote:Is there more to your townread of Xtox or is it just he was on the D1 scum wagon?
This is indeed the vast majority of my personal read on xtoxm and you are welcome to critique his bus there, I'm not ignoring you although I am processing some other stuff rn too
Are you serious? What about him, makes him scum? No, it’s not. I don’t believe scum busses twice in this kind of setup.
There are also plenty of early interactions that show anti-partnery interactions between Xtoxm and SS. I don’t even understand how you’re pushing this?

for jingle this seems like a pretty bad mechanical slip
@Boon, if a scum player had the weak modifier and they targeted a town player, would they die?
I commuted last night because I tried my best to convince scum I was a decent kill. I did not commute the night I replaced in because no one in this player list has enough paranoia about me to shoot me on replace in. I didn't want to claim the commute because I wanted scum to think I was worth nightkilling and I left the door open to me having been targeted by something because I was trying to make them think I had in fact been given something dangerous to them.
Yes, the xtox thing is mechanical, but that deserves it's own post.
And no, BEF is scummy because he wants to policy lynch EJ for lying but doesn't seem to actually think he's scum.
In post 7525, Jingle wrote:So we're left with two possible logic chains:
EJ is a scum traitor
with no special modifiers, meaning Creat/dave/drewva/xtoxm were all stopped by an independent source or are lying AND has been claimed to have received the Weak modifier.
EJ is town who lies compulsively and plays like a survivor regardless of role PM.
The latter is magnitudes of order more likely imo, and, more importantly,
if the former IS the case, EJ cannot have performed the scum kill
, and continues to not be able to perform the scum kill.
No mechanical contradiction here. Traitors (more specifically the kind that aren't recruited and therefore are still traitors) don't perform the NK.

Weak - will die if they target a different alignment.
That's how weak was described. it's very nonstandard, which is why it took me so long to realize how powerful it was when I came up with the optimal strategy that I spent a large portion of yesterday talking about.
