like now that everyone has a small lynchpool vork is freaking out but where were they when I was pushing D2

-pushing for a massclaim to try and get things sorted out
-trying to do PoE to determine what happens assuming everyone who claimed wasn't lying and wasn't happy with the conclusion I came to

@Jaina and @Overkill- what are your thoughts on POTENTIAL springtrap shenanigans?
Do you refuse to acknoweldge that possibility at all?

Why is pushing Springtrap scummy?

The PR's and "confirmed" townies have it in their mind that
-There is a lynchpool of 5 remaining
-Out of the 5, 3 are scum.
-Scum "wincon" is 2 more mislynches.
So their choice is to either A- aim for a mislynch INSIDE the lynchpool (needs to be played perfectly, or it fails and scum basically loses) or B- aim for a springtrap mislynch.
Urist (and seemingly most other people who voted) is convinced that scum!yourstruly is trying to pull B off.

Now my perspective:
I've already explained why I'm hesitant to allow springtrap into Lylo with us.
I don't see why the !scum players in the lynchpool chose to claim VT instead of a proper PR (or at least something as confusing as whatever the hell Gamma has to throw us off guard) as it would give them a day or two and is probably the better/winning move.
So, if I were to assume that there exists mafia OUTSIDE the lynchpool, the only explanation for it (aside from traitor BS, which we collectively agreed on isn't likely) is that springtrap is lying to us, or if there exists another modifier that caused springtrap to "misclear" gamma & stk (which I think would be bordering on unfair coming from the setup).
From my perspective I don't like the 3/4 (DD, texcat, Jaina, & overkill) situation. I have semi-decent town reads on most of them (as I've explained before), and when I try to balance the 3/4 situation with the possibility that springtrap might be scum, I am placed in this position.

I am in the lynchpool as an uncleared VT, and as of one post before #781 I was in damn near perfect standing with town and the least likely to get lynched.

Springtrap's play seems to me to match a relatively weak tpr player. He basically did nothing, overreacted to rolling town investigative by choosing to do nothing for like two days, and over-relied on night actions. Then, since he claimed and has started actually thinking about how to solve, he has been a lot better.

That being said his iso for the first two days is almost objectively garbage. It is not outside the realm of possibility that he is just scum. But based on the development of his play, the gamestate, and the wifom surrounding his slot, I feel like it is very likely that scum would either a) push hard for his lynch (as you did) or b) wait for town to lynch him on their own. Bottom line, I think he has a latent stench of town to him.

I don't know how I feel about Vorkuta fitting neatly into either one of those, but texcat kind of ignoring the slot and staying tunneled on 0verkill would match b.

Its a possibilty at this stage but the thing is I could really only see them flip scum with Gamma and that would mean we would have no real TPR.

I just tried enumerating possibilities in my head
With my current townreads on DD and Vork, and setup spec townread on Springtrap, this leaves Jenga, Texcat and 0verki11. But I still feel like texcat and Overkill aren't buddies.

Something's wrong with my reads, so I'll be rereading tomorrow. Springtrap's iso overall still sucks and maybe he's scum, but I'll need to check.

I understand why Vork is coming under some fire today, that when he realised the lynchpool has shrunk he suddenly needs to find other lynches.
And I'm coming around to that reasoning.
Except,
I've found Vorkuta early game to be protown, making all efforts to solve and advance the game, listing certain reads and laying out game plans in general. And put together, I still don't feel what Vorkuta has done today outweighs the town things he's done early game.

What do you think about all this?
