Super Smash voted me before I posted in Channel 5.
Robert is voting Near x Mello, that may have also happened before Near made their presence known in Channel 5 as well.

Kind of humorous though that the small group of Channel 5 has 2 votes on each other.

Robert was asking questions about the channels in Channel 5, trying to figure out how many and how they work. Then posted here about reading up on game specific rules. Could be feigning obliviousness, but that means at least slightly more town than scum considering they could have obtained the info from scum chat and worked through it there.

Also...

I didn't get my first choice, but only because. I was the one who slightly delayed the game because my first choice was from Gantz: 0, which I saw on Netflix, but mod told me that it is a sequel and the original Gantz was in 2004.

Did get my second choice though.

Also...

You'll want to test my Priest role before Night 3, and then force me to test again after Night 3 to see if I changed roles or not.

I'd encourage all neighborhood memberships be public info in the main thread. It can only help cross reference info down the line I think, and it might help game solve as well.

Can't force it, and any members of channels who don't post in them will keep some info out of the picture as well, but I don't see a down side to disclosing Channel rosters for the sake of knowing who is in what chat.

I dont think I've ever needed to be prodded before lol. Busy weekend with the Super Bowl and what not.

I'm a bit disappointed at the lack of initiative to reveal other neighborhoods, but I'm at least town reading Drixx for having a similar mind set as I for the reasons of why it's a good idea.


Nothing else to really report on since nothing in the game stands out, including any real scum case that looks sticky enough to work. I'll go here for now since my gut is telling me to...

You don't really seem to respond well to pressure. You may need to experiment with a different play style that better suits your strengths.

That being said, I've been getting nothing but town vibes from your slot, especially in these last couple pages. I will say, however, there is a bit of concern that Spike and Jet might be buddying you, which is setting up a few flags.

Piecing the game together, I think it's very possible Spike and Jet could be scum here.

Alisae was going ho Creature scum meta. After constant pushes, Creature finally shows up, but Alisae has now replaced out, so any pressure that might have happened will never be.

I have just been getting a lot of activity filler feelings from the past few pages, and the recent buddying of Verdith is just making me feel worse about the slot.

Don't fight it, I feel like you are both town. It's day 1, so any time "odds are" is used as a point of argument, it's completely valid. In fact, it's probably the best scum hunting tool to use on Day 1 to narrow the lunch pool. Don't induce paranoia into the mix just because you can. Literally any argument that can be made for town can be made for scum.

The mod mentioned in the sign up topic that one of the players submitted a role that was outside the guidlines, which I found out was myself shortly before the game started. I had asked for Masaru Kato from Gantz: 0, but since the original Gantz came in 2006, my role had to be scrapples and my second choice made.

Now, it's entirely possible that other people made similar mistakes and the mod didn't catch them all, but my guess is that if he made a role for me for Gantz, realized it was against the sign up restrictions, and had to scrap it and go with choice 2, he'd probably have checked everyone to make sure they were legal as well.

The only thing I find questionable is, does the scum team even need game claims since it's a UPick and mafia team was decided before roles were even made. And roles were made based around characters in the top slots of player picks, so there may be no discernable connection in mafiosi characters, so why fake claim anything at all?

The claim is either real, and the mod goofed, or if it's fake, it's not likely mod provided, but why fake anything anyways?

It should also be noted that the rules only disallow sequels of animes from before 2010, so even though the character existed prior to 2010 through visual novels and what not, if the first anime came after 2010, it might still be legal.

If RP is correct that Scum don't have day chat, assuming there are no other scum in Channel 5, then it's likely that anything said in that channel never made it to the remaining scum.

So,

I think neighborhoods should be claimed now. A list of everyone who posted before this post should be provided. A note should be made of anyone who posted after about 8 hours ago when it became clear that not posting might end up revealing them.

I don't see any upside (yet) to talking about what might be the common thread, but we may find a small number of players who were just being voyeurs, and I think at this point that bears some explanation from them.

I also feel like when we do these lists, people should post any thoughts they have FROM said hoods and the people on the list. May be some useful bits there in the initial impressions. This goes extra for someone whose tone or style is dramatically different here in the main game thread as compared to their hood.

Drixx is also the only other person thus far to echo my sentiment of claiming hood residents. Can we honor the dead man's wishes por favor?

Nope, nothing suspicious about naming consensus scumreads as your three preferred lynches, nothing at all even remotely.

Hey, I'm just pointing out the obvious. One of those three should be lynched, and any deviation from those three is just noise. Hell I don't even really scumread them too heavily. I just don't town read them as much as other people that are getting more attention than they deserve. If anything, Clemency is probably my biggest scum read, but there's no point chasing a dream.

I think the safer ooba lynch is the best route today though. Lots of players town telling at this point, so it's better to let night actions aid in removing the stand out players in one way or another, and then revisit the stances tomorrow. There is a definitive line in the sand in regards to FL and NxM, so we don't need to force a 1v1 right now with so many people on each side. Let some additional evidence pile up and revisit it tomorrow.

Get rid ooba today since there isn't any activity coming from the slot, and it's an ambiguous enough slot that can be afforded the lynch, and then I imagine I'll be targeted during the evening and people will have more answers to work with for tomorrow as well.

But looking back into the game I aknowledge how obtown you were, mastina. The problem was that A50 was obvtown too

You need to be able to diffuse an obvtown v. obvtown situation.

On Night 2, I had a good portion of the game sorted and had at least 4 locktown players. I guess I couldn't make myself any more obvtown, but I can understand how a room full of egos could see me as a distraction.

Good job not letting the game fall apart in the end, town, but I feel like had Robert not been modkilled, scum may have been in a position numbers-wise to win, especially with the clashing of egos.

Ascetic Priest... I couldn't wrap my head around that, but had I lived to day 3, mastina probably would have pushed my lynch anyways, and I much prefer being night killed rather than lynched, so I'm fine with my exit.
