Eh my view on hoods has been different from ali’s since the beginning. I dont have the faith that my channel is pure town so in the world where wolves are in it any information shared within hood is probably shared with other wolves too, whereas obviously not all villagers get that info. I want to discourage the usage of well, at least my channel for serious convos. Never was a fan of super big hoods tbh.

The difference between yours and BNL is that your post saying "theres probably no correlation on the number of wolves in each hood whatsoever" does not imply any knowledge that town would not know. BNL's post, on the other hand, does imply that certain hoods have scum(s) and others do not.

I don't have much to add in terms of what happened in the hood, thats pretty much what happened in there. I'm actually incredibly enjoying how active the hood is in the beginning despite saying we shouldn't say anything in it and absolutely LOVE the clarity of your reads and what's been happening on your mind. I don't necessarily agree with some of them, for example A50 is one of my biggest townreads and I'm not scumreading Pink Ball.
(for clarity, I don't have a read there other than null. Frankly I didn't bother trying to read Alisae. I mean the biggest motivation for me to playing Mafia is to just have fun and well, ya know, just shitposting and interacting with Ali is fun. And I do agree with your point on Pink Ball lacking explanation on initial reads and after he was pushed to explain the reads on myself and Elena, those are bloody awful. After he was fully caught up though, I think how his catch up and some posts right after that, while not as game advancing as the game you posted, I did like them and it can be pretty hard to go beyond and try to metadive players and whatever, thats just too much work. Oh I think Alisae would just dick around as both alignments because in the sign up thread he kinda just joined because of people keeping asking him to.)

i would have felt it likelier for morality to be scum if the near x mello wagon had less resistance
i feel like that's a point where you can force scum to have to work together towards a mislynch, even if subtly

If I town read Gamma and Gamma made solid points, and I wasn’t sure where to go, I’d Sheep Gamma definitely, and I feel we’re in that position, but reverse.

I want to go back to this whole Toog thing. I need to read up on how this went down, but if I understand this correctly, at some point he freely told everyone that his role is such that if he gets targeted N2, he will die.

I legitimately do not understand why any townie would use a night action on him to kill him. Consider the two scenarios:

If a town player thinks he really is town, then why would this player want to kill town? Furthermore, why would this player want to waste his ability which is almost certainly much more than “Target a player so you can trigger some effect he may have”?

If a town player had any suspicions at all and thought he might NOT be town, then you would have to believe that a scum player, whose primary goal in this game is to stay alive, openly told everyone exactly how to kill him without even needing to lynch him. Furthermore, you would have to trust that there was no twist in killing him by targeting him to kill him, and it ought to be obvious that the only reason a scum would want to be targeted by a night action would be if he had an ability that allowed him to mess up whoever targeted him. In short, if he’s scum, logic would dictate that it’s a trap.

So I am highly suspicious of anyone who claims to be town and targeted him last night, as well as highly suspicious of anyone who thought what happened here was NBD and not worth discussing. I.E. the guy I’m currently voting for.

Check Mastina's ISO on the reasoning for targeting Toog; essentially in her PoE(and others) they had a decent chance of being scum, and were likely to be lynched, so more efficient to target them and remove them at night if they were a mislynch just waiting ot happen; if they were scum and lying, then caught scum. It was basically viewed as any action on them was a shot that would confirm them as scum or kill them, with killing them being something that would happen via lynch at some point.

It is, however, a bit weird that nobody(including myself, but I give myself a pass for not really paying attention) actually questioned why scum would make a statement that guaranteed their lynch on D3 if still alive. Nobody even really mentioned that it could be a wifom thing...so yeah.

You are welcome to, in the course of reading the game, find the people who were planning on targeting Toog.

If the two completely different buckets of wolf pool are {Gamma, Elena, Mastina} and {Gamma, Near x Mello, A50, Pink Ball} then given the state of Vedith's lynch and Robert slot's self implosion I would believe it's more likely that the latter bucket is true. Now there are ways to test which bucket is true, but that requires night actions probably.

I don't intend to make use of it, though, because my N3 unlock is my true power.
