the dining table is a large classy table with weird mythical creatures pictures which are engraved on it. you can see a hydra, unicorn, gargoyle, and something that you're pretty sure is a Manticore. There are several plates that are on this table but there are no spoons or forks or glasses.

What are the shapes and text?

The giant picture in the dining room is kind of different from any other pictures in the mansion. The image is showing a compass in the center but it has no hands. there is a circular arrow around the compass that is rotating it in a clockwise manner. The arrow starts from the top of the compass (if it was a watch right at the 12 o'clock point) and the arrow ends again there right before where it started making a full circle. There are also four colored dots on the image. Top right dot is blue, the bottom right dot is red, the top left dot is green and bottom left dot is yellow.
There is text below the photo, like a riddle, saying

The broken pieces, They'll never meet again.

The shower looks really comfortable at first glance. There is also a jacuzzi. But then you realize there is no water-exit in it so you can't actually use the jacuzzi itself for bath.

This was the couch Mitsuha and Onizuka were sleeping on earlier. You check them both thoroughly and you find nothing significant. but hey those are some cozy couches!

The painting is showing the lake Itomori before the incident that destroyed the village there. Under the painting, there is a letter "L" the same way painters sign their paintings.

The roses in the third line are nearly dying. some of their leaves are already dropped.

You can also see a weird stone in each line.

The handcuffs are military model handcuffs. They are made of strong steal. The handcuffs were not too big or small for the hands they were holding. On the handcuff, you can see a mark with the letter "E".

Why we’re doing this and what we’re supposed to be looking for.

The overall goal for each participant is to either escape from the island or to commit a murder and get away with it

Right now we are in free time, which means a murder hasn't happened that we need to investigate and we aren't in a trial to find the killer; we are using this time to try to find clues that will help us figure out what's going on and why we are here.

FA is going to reveal a murder motive soon, which means that a murder is going to happen pretty shortly here.

If it helps, think of the game as a group full of town where one person can turn themselves into a one person scumteam that the rest have to find and lynch, or otherwise the solo scum wins and the town loses.
