sometimes I think that maybe Jingle is the roleblocker but I'm a little iffy on there being 2.5 investigation roles.

You mean rolecop, backup rolecop just incase rolecop dies early (otherwise it's likely useless) and a cop that dies upon an innocent result?

The only way Jingle is the roleblocker is if the boon bank role is scum and therefore fakeclaimed by Pink Ball or a miller

So the result is the same
