Parity Cop - You may target two players. You will learn whether the two players share alignments or not.
Soultrapper (idk what to call this) - You may target a player. That player will flip and be counted as dead for all purposes except for being allowed to communicate in PTs. A soultrapped player will be added to a soul gem PT where a number of random players equal to half the lynch threshold (rounding up) will be added to the soul gem PT as well.

If the player has a role that can cause the mod to lie, change someone's alignment mid-game, or enable direct moderator influence; their role will be changed to the nearest non-bastard equivalent. (Vanillize the role if this is not reasonable.)

Any information about the player's role that is hidden from them is revealed to them.

If the player is Cult-aligned, their alignment will be changed to Town. (Yes, this makes the De-bastardizer a bastard role.)

For example, targeting a Death Miller turns them into a Miller, targeting a Cult Leader turns them into a VT, targeting an Insane Cop causes them to know they're insane, targeting a Mafia Innocent Child turns them into a Mafia Goon, and targeting a Dreaming God causes them to know what their abilities do.

Mod Notes: The Strong-Willed Dreaming God's abilities are:

Connections - Half of the living players rounded up will be added to a PT with daytalk for the next Day and Night.
Dreams - The moderator will post "I'm dreaming of (a/an) X" at the start of the next Day, where X is the role card of the player who cast the deciding vote the previous Day.
Flavor - The moderator uses aliases for everyone in the votecount the next Day. Votes can be for the aliases or the actual players.
Knowledge - All third-parties in the votecount the next Day are colored blue.
Lockout - All PT's are locked for the next Day and Night. Factional action requests must be submitted by PM to the moderator, who will post them in the PT.

You show up as Guilty to all investigations.

Any Watcher targeting a player who was killed will see you as the killer, regardless of who actually killed that player.

All actions targeting you succeed even if they shouldn't.

Each night, you may use one of these abilities which are one-shot unless otherwise specified:

Hellfire - You may target a player to kill with fire, as if you were an Arsonist priming then immediately igniting your target. This ability can be used an unlimited number of times.
Hellfrost - You may target a player to freeze. The frozen player will be announced to be frozen, but will count as exiled the next Day and Night (they count as dead for wincon purposes, but for all other purposes the player doesn't exist at all). This ability can be used an unlimited number of times.
Soulbond - You may target two players to link them in one neighborhood and make all actions affecting one affect the other as well (this can be called soulbonding)
Possess - You may target a player to learn what night actions the player has if any and gain the 1-shot ability to control the use of their night actions.
Demonic Surge - You may use two other abilities tonight.

When you die during the Night, the next phase is a Demon's Shadow phase where night actions happen as normal except that standard kill actions will always fail. When you die during any other phase, the phase after the next Night phase is a Demon's Shadow phase.

You win when all other players are dead or nothing can prevent this from happening.

Mod Note: The alignment-role split of this role is named Demon Lord regardless if it is the alignment or role. The Demon Lord alignment only has the Serial Killer wincon (without the factional kill), all of the abilities are part of the Demon Lord role.

Once in the game during Night, you may attempt to exile a player. An exiled player is treated as being completely nonexistent for all purposes except win condition (an exiled player counts as dead for wincon purposes).

Exile pierces protection and immunities that specifically protect against killing, since Exile isn't considered killing for action resolution purposes.

Exiled players disappear without a flip (and can't be targeted by even Strong-Willed Coroners!), are removed from all PTs they have access to, don't allow backups to grab their roles, and aren't added to the Dead PT, for example.

Replicants are a scumteam with a factional kill. In GIM they are vanishingly rare! Even rarer than Spooks and UrScum, even!

This is why I balance GIM Replicants as if they were independent scum, except with room for conversion.

You know nothing about your role. You will flip your true role on death, and investigative roles see your true alignment and role.

Mod Note: Randomly roll a role from the GIM thread. That role is the player's true role. If a player tries to target more players than they are capable of targeting, comment out the targets after the allowed limit of targets. If a player targets one player with a role that requires multiple targets, their action fails. For Multitasking roles, the factional kill comes first, then the other actions in order of the Role PM are used. For JOAT-like roles, the actions are used in order of the Role PM.

The player has access to PTs that their role would give them access to, however the identity of said PTs will be hidden (e.g. a Mafia PT or a Mason PT with an Unknowing One would be given a generic name such as "Generic PT"). If targeted by a Neighborizer, they will know it is a Neighborhood PT though.

Grand Idea Enters a New Era

You may choose your alignment from Town or any scumteam existing in the game. This must be done pregame, otherwise you will default to Town.

If your role is rolled, every player gets a Self Role Reroller invention, allowing them to reroll their role but not alignment.

If you are Town-aligned, you have a 1-shot ability to add someone to your private topic, which you may give any name you wish. You will also know if they are Town-aligned or not.

If you are groupscum-aligned, you have a 1-shot ability to perform the factional kill as if it were Strong-Willed, and you may write your own flavor for the factional kill.

If you are third party-aligned, you may reroll your role but not alignment, and a target player's role but not alignment.
