The Mafia were beginning to get concerned. With the high-profile arrest of one of their men on the inside and the public outcry over deaths of multiple officers, the rope was tightening around their neck.

As everyone was heading home from the station, JunkoChan checked her desk.

Finally, a letter. She'd been instructed to sit tight and stay quiet at the start of the investigation, with no further contact since. Getting a message now must mean that things would be moving forwards.
