Greatest Idea VIII

Greatest Idea Mafia is a semi-open setup with a UPick-esque role choice mechanic that allows
players to choose their role and alignment given a set of options.
Three separate setups will be generated for this game. The setup with the best overall balance between factions will be used as determined by the game moderator.
For each setup, the cards numbered 1-146 (as listed on the 5th of May, 2017 revision of the Greater Idea Mafia page) will be shuffled, and three are given to each player. Each card represents an alignment and role.
Players will receive one PM with the cards they have been dealt in each of the three setups.
Players will have 48 hours to choose for each setup: one card to represent their alignment, and a second, different card to represent their ability. The third card will be publicly discarded.
Once all players have submitted their choices a setup will be determined and role PM's will be sent out.
All private threads in this game are open for Daytalk.

Town
: You win when all threats to the Town have been eliminated and there is at least one Town player alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
Mafia
: You win when all threats to the Mafia have been eliminated and there is at least one Mafia player alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
Werewolf
: You win when all threats to the Werewolves have been eliminated and there is at least one Werewolf player alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
Alien
: You win when all threats to the Aliens have been eliminated and there is at least one Alien player alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
Survivor
: You win if the game ends and you are alive.
Lyncher
: You win if (your target) is lynched with you on the wagon. If you are unsuccessful, you lose. If your result occurs before the game ends, you will be removed from the game, and it will continue as long as it would otherwise not end.
Serial Killer
: You win when one of the following are true:
1. All threats to you have been eliminated and you are still alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
2. All threats to you have been eliminated and your death occurred in the most recent game phase, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.
Cult
: You win when all threats to the Cult have been eliminated and there is at least one Cult player alive, or if nothing can prevent such a scenario.

It's the same process as normal, just done three times at once. Each player will have a set of three cards for each of the three setups. They must choose an alignment card, ability card and discard for each of the three setups. Each setup will be dealt from a different deck of cards.
Once everyone has made their choices I will look at the three setups and choose the one that I think has the best overall balance between factions. I'll send out role PM's and the game will be played using the setup that I choose.

Looks like we’ve filled. I’m still waiting for NotMySpamAccount to confirm. If he decides not to play insomnia gets the spot. I’ve still got a little preparation to do behind the scenes, but I expect to have a game thread up and cards sent out within 24 hours of finalizing the playerlist.
