Description:

wonder what would a mafia game where players pick their townreads instead of their scumreads during each day look like?

• 7 Vanilla Town, 2 Mafia Goon. Nightless, Mafia Goons have daychat and one single daykill that will reset the clock.
  
• Every player has a vote.
  
• At the end of day, every player that is
  NOT VOTED
  is lynched.
  
• At the end of day, every player that is
  NOT VOTING
  is killed.
  
• A vote is
  invalid
  if it creates a
  CYCLE
  . That is, for example, if A is voting B, and B is voting C, then a vote by C for A will not be counted. Obviously, this prevents self voting as well.
  
• A vote is
  invalid
  if the player being voted for has greater or equal than round-up(Alive Players / 3) votes.
  
• Every time a vote is placed, if the deadline would be less than 4 hours after the vote, it will become 4 hours after the vote. Otherwise End of Days are strictly enforced.
  
• Mafia wins if there are greater or equal mafia members alive than town members. Town wins when all mafia are dead, and at least one townie is alive.

Balance is not guaranteed. Let's see how it plays out!

Setup
2:7 mountainous. Instead of a factional NK, the Mafia may poison a townie every Night, who will die at the end of the next Night phase. The Mafia will also (compulsively) poison a randomly chosen townie pregame. However, if a poisoned townie is lynched, Town immediately win.

Additionally, the mechanic Get a Room (stolen from Plotinus) will be in effect.

Description:

Is there any other information players should know about your game?

Yes indeedy.

The setup is two separate pools of players, regulars and paragons. As there is no limit to the number of Paragons, you do not need to sign up here and may instead PM me. Players will be randomized into 3 VT and 2 Goons. The game starts with a 1 week Day phase in which one player is lynched. If that player is mafia, town wins. Otherwise that player becomes a paragon. After that is a 48 hour guess phase in which the Paragons must choose between themselves one guess as to the entirety of the Scum team. If they do so correctly, town wins. Otherwise, mafia wins. Paragons win with the town.

Paragons may continue to join the game after it begins by PM-ing me.
