Hina: The walls and the doors are all soundproof! After Kyoko locked the guest room, people there couldn't hear anything!
Bayakuya: "Also Parlor is right next to the dining room but we heard nothing. And,

it was impossible for the murderer to pass everyone in the hallway without being noticed unless if it was someone guarding.

Answer: Suicide

Mikan: "We can say for sure that Light Yagami tried to suicide with the knife."
Bayakuya: "Why?"
Mikan: "Three reasons. First, if the killer wanted to kill him with a knife they would take the spare knife that was in the kitchen, they wouldn't attack light who had a knife to take his knife and use it for stabbing him. That means light used his own knife which was the knife he took from the garden after kousei incident."
Kyoko: "That is a very decent deduction!"
Mikan: "Second, his right hand was on the knife when he died - suggesting he wanted to take it out or that he was the one who put it there."
Bayakuya: "Why would he want to suicide though?"
Kyoko: "Maybe he wanted to end his suffering - that was caused by poison. We know that it had no antidote. Please, Mikan, continue!"
Mikan: "Third reason. We saw his vomit all over the room but his position in the middle of the room - that's the only location he had normal bleeding in - that wasn't covered in other stuff which was vomited."
Bayakuya: "And what that tells?"
Mikan: "He was stabbed after he locked the window. We know he was stabbed after he locked the door as there was no blood there. That means he was stabbed after the room was completely locked."
Kyoko: "And that means he stabbed himself."

Onizuka: "I can confirm that because I could see it from the guest room."
Mitsuha: "Yes! from where he was sitting he could see the dining room entrance in the hallway!"
Suzaku: "How can we be sure he didn't eat any of it? and that it wasn't the poisoned food?"
Mikan: "Because he only vomited the biscuits. Also, there was only the empty pack of biscuits on the table - no sign of any other food."

The charisma won't refill to their previous amount after the trial but you might gain charisma based on your actions during the trial. Mechanics of it are not yet announced.

I'll allow you to use a story fragment (forexample story number 5) as a bullet for another story. All purple text are resolvable just using the truth bullets that were available in mansion but I allow the story fragment uses.

You can also reuse a bullet if you felt you need it.

Mikan: "It makes you dizzy if you breathe it. There is no antidote. Poisoned people will die at max in 24 hours."
Kyoko: "Is vomiting blood an effect?"
Mikan: "Yes it can be. During the final stages of poison, your body parts will start to dissolve and vomiting blood is a sign of it."
Kyoko: "So did we see these signs on the Lights murder case? Do we know if he was dizzy?

Was any part of his body dissolved?

(W). We know he was vomiting blood but we can't say if it was before or after stabbing unless if we find more clues.

The murder story:

Put the pieces of the following story together. Just assign a number for each alphabet! You will lose 1 charisma point for each wrong placement. You will receive a prize for the times you managed to solve a puzzle during the class trial or if for sorting these sentences:

a. Light yagami Stabbed himself, trying to make sure that he will be the blackend of the case himself.
b. The ? opened the kitchen window and jumped in the garden with the key in her hands.
c. Light Yagami takes the knife which was left in the garden when everyone else leave it there to go to the parlor to watch monokuma motivation video.
d. Light Yagami eats the poisoned biscuits in the dining room.
e. The ? gives the biscuits and the key to Light so he has some food while he could isolate himself in the dining room.
f. The ? locked the guest room so no one can hear or see light getting out of the dinning room from the door.
g. Light Yagami locks the door from inside.
h. The ? goes back to the servents room as her guarding shift is about to finish.
i. Light Yagami locks the window.
j. Light yagami dies because of the poison as he couldn't take the knife out to stab himself again.
k. Light yagami makes a deal with ? in the hallway when everyone else is still busy in parlor cause of the motivation videoes.
l. Mitsuha sees dirt on the oven and realized someone used the kitchen window so she opens it and jumps in the garden.
m. The ? brings him some canned for dinner to see how he is and to see if he can share more details to her.

They were under the water but the cylinder came up and allowed them all to breath again.

And right at that moment, it went downward again but this time really fast ... It started circling as it was going up and down ...

Because of speed, water started to cut flesh ...

The water became bloody.

When it stopped, nothing recognizable remained ...

Clarify about the murder: The poisoned biscuit was simply the murder weapon and was made by someone else. Kyoko gave it to light which makes her the blackened (Like the poison gas in the dr2 case for people who are familiar) but in truth, someone else tried to kill Kyoko with it. Light and Kyoko who realized this is about to happen tried to change the case to suicide, but light failed in it as the poison affected faster than expected.

You have now access to the second floor of the mansion.

This case will be heavily relevant in the final trial. I suggest you all make some notes about it and about the unresolved mysteries around it.

You all will be punished with stats because of failure in this case. Akane is sick and can't move freely during free time. You will receive charisma for the stuff you solved during the trial or if you sort the murder story fragments.

Case 1 Conclusion

r. Someone adds poison to the biscuits and put it in the Kyoko's stuff. Someone was trying to murder Kyoko Kirigiri.

c. Light Yagami takes the knife which was left in the garden when everyone else leaves it there to go to the parlor to watch monokuma motivation video. Light knew something about the people who were behind the whole thing.

k. Light Yagami makes a deal with Kyoko in the hallway when everyone else is still busy in parlor cause of the motivation videoes. Light promises Kyoko to give her information if she helps him with his plan.

e. Kyoko gives the biscuits and the key to Light so he has some food while he could isolate himself in the dining room. Light has a knife, biscuits and the mansion key inside the dining room, where he stays there for all day till he dies.

g. Light Yagami locks the door from inside.

d. Light Yagami eats the poisoned biscuits in the dining room.

o. Light Yagami started to vomit blood. He realized that he is poisoned and that he is about to die. This happens sometime before dinner time.

m. Kyoko brings him some canned for dinner to see how he is and to see if he can share more details with her.

p. Light Yagami rejects the dinner and explains to Kyoko about the poison. She realizes that if he dies like this, she will be the blackened so they make a quick plan. Their plan was to wait for everyone to sleep, so Light would open the dining room door and he would show Kyoko the information he got before killing himself.

Everyone goes to sleep.

Kyoko Jumps in the garden using the Kitchen window and sneaks in the dining room using the dining room window. Light is not feeling well enough to follow the same path. Kyoko asks him for the key so she could lock the guest room, then they could use the hallway instead of windows.

t. Kyoko takes the key, so she can sneak inside the mansion again (Using the kitchen window) and lock the guest room.

f. Kyoko locked the guest room so no one can hear or see light getting out of the dining room from the door.

The door of the dining room was locked from inside so she couldn't open it from the hallway.

b. Kyoko opened the kitchen window and jumped in the garden with the key in her hands.

s. Kyoko gives light the key through the dining room window. But Light asks her to allow him to do something alone before he shows Kyoko those pieces of evidence he was talking about.

i. Light Yagami locks the window.

n. Light tries to unlock the door but halfway there he feels dizzy and falls on the ground as the poison starts to affect him sooner.

a. Light Yagami Stabbed himself, trying to make sure that he will be the blackened of the case himself as he promised that to Kyoko.

j. Light Yagami dies because of the poison as he couldn't take the knife out to stab himself again.

h. Kyoko who watched him die goes back to the servant's room as her guarding shift is about to finish.

l. Mitsuha sees dirt on the oven and realized someone used the kitchen window so she opens it and jumps in the garden.

q. Mitsuha finds the dead body in the dining room and screams.
