I have, when I was newer. It was incredibly challenging for town to win, since it creates a scum friendly environment. But I promise you that I care as much as you do...at least about d1.

I've also seen a game end at pg 7 with BlueBloodedToffee and others in it. BBT hammered & ended up being nked. Probably the fastest non newbie game I've ever seen. Town ended up winning iirc but it was due to a good amt of activity.

In this thread though, I want to see at least 3 more people input more, before I personally am comfortable with a day end. It's halfway through & these 3 have been lurking tremendously.

In the past when games get stagnant, I would just signup for another game and that usually eased the frustration - just a recommendation.

the 3 i referenced earlier were slaax (elements)/fl/mohab who stuck out with their lurking. glad you noticed it too for fl

the others including slaax, im not familiar with...though ive secretly wanted to play with slaax for awhile due to his profile
1 of the 3 who were lurking tremendously was elements, and slaax's entrance hasn't changed my scumread of that slot

the way i see it, jib & emp both made game-related posts , but jib's most substantial ones from an ISO glance were the votes on Enter...while emp's most relevant were the interactions with fl . why - because fl is familiar with emp because he was an IC of emp before.
also, fl has seen emp's scum game multiple times so i am somewhat trusting fl's read on emp not being scum.

mohab i am scumreading after another ISO of him, he seems to be stuck on enter (tunneling).
my read on fl , i've been debating if town or scum. fl's unvote of pers & that he's lurking so much - even for his playstyle, its making me wonder. i wouldnt write off an fl & pers team. the interactions fl & emp had, made me think emp is town though...im not solid on my read on fl though. fl is a difficult read for me.

nm's play is typically scummy, jib has definitely been scummy ... yet slaax is saying jib's play is like nm's

notes i made about jib at end of phase 1:

jibril = claimed jk, made sense how she claimed her role. Her jk on enter makes me think she was saying if he's scum, then that helps out. But there are two problems - since there's a third scum, then if enter fake claimed, then let's say she'll successfully jailkeep him, but his remaining partner will commit the nk then. The other problem is if he's actually told the truth, the jk is a waste on an ascetic cop because their ascetic modifier makes them immune to a jk.

Considering how jibril questioned pp on the "keep" interaction, she threw out her jk idea on enter like that without seemingly considering possibilities, that makes me think that's likelier town than scum. Problem is, going through her meta - she's clearly an alt so she's got to have some experience before being able to play a mini normal...which makes me wonder if she was faking the cluelessness. Have her at null for now - I believe the fake claims should be more clear later in the game.

Fake claiming is basically suicide. Out of all 3 pr claims, I like jibril's the best - seems to be more valid than the other 2. OTHER than the claim though, jibril's play has been lacking (scummy) - including following along to nm's requests

So Enter (cop Aescetic) was protected by Jibril (claimed JK). Enter investigated NM (claimed town cop).

WHY did we direct the JK to JK the Aescetic? WHY did we direct the Aescetic to investigate NM? We cant confirm the JK because Obviously it's useless to protect Enter. We gave Scum a clear target instead of letting Jibril making it 50/50 on which player he'd protect.We also should have known Enters action would be useless on NM if we had already directed Jibril to protect Enter, due to the fact that scum would kill NM.

Had we left it 50/50 then scum probably would have killed the JK. Whiich theoretically (at the time of claims we believed) would have given us 2 cop night action results. So given that we already claimed a shit ton of roles we also wasted n1 imo. WHY did that happen?

This actually starts making a lot of sense in terms of balance, partly due to the games I've seen nsg moderate before, they're not that high in power. So I'm running with that trend for this game .

Asked about someone being an alt, kept fluff posting about my gambit fake hammer, scumread jib (who ended up being a claimed pr)/chill/vedith (mohab) at points of the game. big fan of boonskies tests here. I encourage them for the most part (he's not a god he's occasionally wrong) Usually only use them after a town flip because he does the same shit as scum. You can usually tell when he's scum if he keeps mislynching. His reads are too good on a regular basis to be constantly pushing town players.

one of the many things that's probably been throwing me and probably others off, is that chill voted jib today earlier, jib voted me rather than chill. now jib said werebeast chill has been lurking, which is actually true after i just checked activity overview. but the fact that jib said 3 people (ved/ss/someone else i forget) are scummy to him and what he's done has just voted me , it just makes me think jib is bad town .

he did mention he planned to look at ss & slaax today but later voted ved after some horrendous fluff posting. so call me crazy about chill/pp/fl but thats part of how I townread people - if they're being productive & if im familiar with them

I just got into a huge 1v1 with Scum Vedith last game, and this is Night and Day it’s almost unreal.

Also I just saw him finish another game where he was scum. I modded it.

Vedith does a lot of posturing in his games as scum. He will make sure to look town and prioritize that. As town he seems much less concerned with his standing in the town, and I’m thinking this is more town Vedith.

I’m trying to have a strong town game this year. That’s where my focus is gonna be.

I feel I played pretty well here for the most part.

I'll never talk about him in a negative way due to the fact that not only did he mod most of my first few games but I just enjoy playing with or against him here as well. PP is also a player I enjoy on site. Pers and SS maybe new additions to that lists and ik everyone can't play their best every game so it's not like I'm writing off other players immediately. I just liked SS and Pers based off this game.

yeah i think scum earned this win too...despite there were some really questionable town plays . chill your scum game has improved dramatically and im impressed.
