this is subjective, but my feeling is that a post isn't spam if it's connected to the game, even very loosely. in this case, the gifs relate to another player's username, and are therefore relevant to the game. if it was, like, a full page of nothing but gifs, that might also change things, but 8 posts that are interrupted by other players posting in the thread isn't cause for mod action. if at any point I feel that anyone is simply trying to get as close to the line as possible with excessive posting (or off topic posting) without going over, I'll step in, but I don't think that's happened here.
btw since this replacement will be pretty close to deadline there will most likely be a deadline extension; how long it is will depend on how much time remains when the replacement happens.
please avoid using slurs in this game, even in reference to another user using them. I'm adding a rule to the "game conduct" section of my rules clarifying this.
(also, this is the sort of thing I usually handle privately between the relevant player and me, but because it extended to further discussion in the thread, I felt making a post here about this made sense.)

re: 1685, I have not modified any roles from the original submitted designs (other than adding win conditions to some roles). some of the submitted roles involved very elaborate formatting, and some involved no formatting whatsoever. Ausuka's was in the latter category.
