Hello knights, sires, kings, queens, and any of the common folk. You have all been invited to a grand party in the richest kingdom of all! There was only one requirement to join and a limitation. The first 16 to get in with an animal mask covering their face would be the only 16 participants in the greatest party of all the kingdoms! It was even said that a special party guest would gain all rights to the castle and even become the new ruler! And then so it was decided. As everybody rushed to the door there were many disappointed at the front door as the doors were quickly closed. There were 16 participants and they all gathered in the dining hall. Inside they saw a tall man wearing a mask of his own. It was a mask of the slithery animal, Snake. "Hello participants! You may all be wondering what type of party this is! You will all know in due time, for now though we suggest that you all come to terms with one fact. Only one of you is leaving this castle alive!" The party guests all looked at each other in alarm before a scared common folk spoke their question. "W-What do you mean by that exactly?" The Snake chuckled, "It means that if you wish to become the new ruler of these lands, you will have to kill the competition. The last person standing will be the winner of this entire dispute. We will finally lay to rest and trust that the new ruler will keep our people in safe hands." A daring participant challenged him. "You think we're just going to start swinging and killing each other? That's how you're going to get a new king or queen? Have 16 people slaughter each other mindlessly!?" The Snake pulled out a long silver sword and pointed it at them. "I assure you, there's rules. We have made sure that nobody will break them and that it will be fair and only the most skillful person will be the sole survivor." A confused intelligent person spoke up. "Why do you keep saying we? Are there others that are helping you puppeteer this entire... battle?" The Snake let out a small laugh and pulled out an Eagle mask. "Glad you asked." The Snake carefully placed the mask in front of them and their entire demeanor changed.

"We refers to both him and me! Of course we work as a team to ensure that you guys are going to go through with this. We will uphold each other's rules and stick close to our laws. Other then that, we won't interfere with the game unless there's a rule broken or we are needed to settle a dispute over who should die. Him and I, we're a team that's inseparable. Of course, you guys can see why I assume? Other than that, it's time to explain the rules! There are four phases......."

Behind the Masks: Mafiascum Edition!

Signups
-To join the game players may type "/join" with an animal mask to be referred to as.
-After all available slots have been filled, the roles will be randomly distributed among players via PM, with no repeated roles.
-Players may still join a backup queue once the game begins

Basics
-The last player standing is the victor.
-A player’s role is not revealed when they die (of course, if their role was guessed you will know it).
-Players may PM other players during the game as long as the Host is included in it. Dead players cannot post after being killed, but they may submit a final will before hand that will be revealed with their death.
-Actions, gifts, and guesses are sent to the moderator.
-No quoting/fake quoting mod messages

Phases
-The game itself has four phases.
-Discussion is permitted and encouraged throughout all phases.

Challenge Phase
-The Challenge Phase lasts 72 hours, or until all players have challenged or nochallenged and all pending challenges are resolved.
-The game begins on this phase.
-Players may “/challenge” other players to dances or duels.
-Once issued, the challenged player must choose whether to “/accept” the challenge or use a “/deny” (all players begin the game with a deny).
-Players must specify whom they are accepting or denying, a bare accept or deny will blanket cover all challenges against you whether you know of them or not.
-If the challenged player does not respond by the end of the Challenge Phase, the challenge is automatically accepted.
-Each player may only challenge once per Challenge Phase (even if the challenge is denied), but can be challenged multiple times.
-If a player does not wish to challenge, they may instead “/nochallenge”. This allows the phase to end earlier. Players must still choose whether to accept or deny challenges.
-The results of the challenges will be posted at the end of the Action Phase (see Action Phase).
-The victors of duels and dances are determined by which player’s roles are higher on the respective list (see below), plus any interfering abilities.

Action Phase
-The Action Phase lasts 24 hours, or until all actions have been received.
-Roles with abilities that are used during the Action Phase can PM the moderator to use them. Currently, this is the Blacksmith and Musician.
-The results for duels and dances will be posted at the end of the Action Phase.

Voting Phase
-The Voting Phase lasts 48 hours, or until a 90% majority has been reached or until all players have voted.
-The Voting Phase will still occur during the first round, but no players will be voted and no execution will occur.
-Any player who lost a duel or dance during the past Challenge Phase is a valid vote target.
-The player with the most votes at the end of the phase will be executed.
-Ties are settled by Hosts discretion
-The Man-at-arms, Royal, and Poisoner act during this phase. The Royal may also PM an extra vote.
-Players may also select gifts during this phase (see below).
-For each challenge participated in (no matter if won or lost) the player earns one gift. Gifts are revealed at the end of the Voting Phase.

Gifts
Extra Deny- grants an extra deny to deny a challenge (see Challenge Phase) (each player starts with one deny)
Extra Switch- grants an extra plate switch to swap plates (see Dinner Phase) (each player starts with one switch)
Free Guess- during the upcoming Dinner Phase, you may make a guess as to a player’s role. If you are correct, they will be executed. You may only choose one of this gift per round.
Guess Immunity- you are not a valid guess target during the next Dinner Phase.
Premium Food- you are not a valid Poisoner target during the Voting Phase. Cannot be stolen with a switch.
Gift Reserve - This gift can be redeemed at any point later in the game for a gift of your choosing. You can only hold up to 3 of this gift at a time.
Lottery Ticket - If you are the only one to take this gift, you get 2x the amount of gifts.

Dinner Phase
-The Dinner Phase ends after 24 hours, or after all players have switched or noswitched.
-Each player is given a plate of food.
-You may “/switch” your plate of food with the plate of another player, consuming a plate switch (each player begins with one plate switch).
-At the end of the phase, each player eats the food in front of them.
-Players who eat poison food will die (excluding the Soldier).
-The Barbarian, Blackmailer, and Monk act during this phase. The Thief may secretly switch plates during this phase.
-In addition, if you received a free guess as a gift, you must use it during the Dinner Phase. If you are correct, that player will be executed at the end of the Dinner Phase. All attempted guesses are revealed at the end of the Dinner Phase.
-If you do not have a free guess, you may still make a guess as to another player’s role as normal. However, if you are incorrect, you will be executed.

Death can never come too soon, for you there is new life in death. Those that die around you are merely wandering spirits, waiting for your guidance underneath your spiritual light. You offer repentance to all who dwindle on this plain of existence.

During the Action Phase, you may ask any dead players up to three questions divided (question length = 100 characters). The dead player may respond to each question(20 characters).
Three times per game, during the Action Phase, you may ask the moderator of the current game and ask 1 question about someone who is already dead. Questions against anyone who is currently alive will be ignored. The Moderator will not lie about what they tell you; the information is correct.

Barbarian

Across the land, your name is whispered in fearful corners and shouted from the peaks of mountains. Mighty conquerors seek mighty trophies, and the Kingdom is certainly a worthy trophy.

Three times per game, during the Dinner Phase, you may intimidate one player, preventing them from acting (challenging), however they must accept all challenges made against them. PM the Moderator to use this power.
Only you and the intimidated player will know they are intimidated. It will not be revealed unless they attempt to challenge somebody or deny a challenge.

Blackmailer

Your hobby is certainly dirty- in that you dig up dirt. Research and preparation are the keys to success. Before you entered the castle, you were already familiar with every tidbit and secret embedded in the past of the other players- secrets that will make them cringe in fear and do your bidding.

During the Dinner Phase, you may blackmail two players. PM the Moderator to use this power.
Blackmailed players must partake in a challenge during the Challenge Phase, or will die.
Only the blackmailed players will know that they are blackmailed.

Blacksmith

Steel flows like water under your steady gaze and steady flame. The pounding of your hammer crafts works of art and workers of war. One of your weapons in a hand guarantees victory.

At the beginning of the Action Phase, you will be notified of the intended winner(s) of the accepted duel(s).
Three times per game, during the Action Phase, you may change the winner of a duel. PM the Moderator to use this power. You may use this ability once on yourself.

Court Jester

Entertaining is your bread and butter, you live and breathe laughter and lightheartedness. Capable of soothing even the loudest of mobs into a quiet peace and calmness. You will do anything to prevent death, including changing your act when it occurs.

When a player dies by non-execution your position on the duel/dance list is randomized
Once per game you may choose to entertain your fellow guests and force a skip of the current voting phase and preventing that the MAA Shot, Poisoner's Poison and the Current execution from taking place.

Man-at-arms

All these poor people attempting to fool their way to riches, you have, and always has, been an excellent murderer. By detecting weakness in the group, you can spread fear with one simple line - Who done it?

Once per voting phase, you may shoot one person. They will not survive the shot unless they are the Soldier or Neutral Nymph. If you shoot the Soldier, the Soldier will kill you instead.
You can only shoot losers of duels/dances.
Additionally, you also gain an additional shooting every time you defeat a player in a duel or dance.
The shooting is silent, meaning it does not reveal your role.
You cannot store more than 1 shot at a time.
You start off with one shot.

Nymph

Truthfully, you're probably older than the grounds this castle stands on. It's been a very eventful life you've had. Your final years are approaching. Why not spend the rest of them ruling over a kingdom that you could do what you wish with?

You have three forms. Dueller, Neutral, and Dancer.
You start off in the Neutral form.
Every dinner phase you may switch your form to whatever you want.
While in the Dueller form you become the best fighter but worst dancer.
While in the Dancer form you become the best dancer but worst fighter.
While in the Neutral form you are in the middle of both lists and are immune to the MAA's attack.

Musician

Professor

A higher education you had, and a higher education you now teach. You are an expert in the field of social analysis. Whether it be his posture, or or his grin, or another tell that no one but you can pick up upon, all you need to determine the past, present, and true intentions of a man is to observe him carefully.

Whenever you guess a player's role, you may also submit a secondary guess to the moderator for the same player. If the secondary guess is correct, it will be displayed as your submitted guess, otherwise, your primary guess, whether correct or incorrect, will be displayed. Whenever you win a challenge, you may submit a third guess the following Dinner Phase.

Royal

During your college years, you could never confine yourself to a single field of study. Thankfully, a natural knack for learning led to the collection of a wide variety of skills. In the Palace, this ability will serve you well, as duelling and dancing are simply other skills.

Each time you participate in a duel or dance and lose, you move up two slots on the corresponding list. Dead players count as being on the lists.

If this game goes well, there will be different flavor that will have it's own unique name and if players want they can suggest a few roles that they would like to be in the next game. The link at the end of the OP has the Hub that holds all the roles and experimental roles. The only role not in there i think is the Nymph.

The guests all came to terms with the fact they were now at the mercy of the insane king. The Snake smiled, “Please, follow me to the area where you guys will be able to discuss. One of you is going to be the new king or queen! I want your time here to be as comfortable as possible! There will be no fighting or death in the area where I am leading you to.” They followed the Snake into a room that had a comfy chair for each guest. There was multiple paintings that depicted great battles won by the kingdom and multiple paintings of the king wearing either the Snake mask or the Eagle mask. “We’ve been able to keep this a secret for a long time, but it’s been unbearable keeping it like that. Before we decided to retire we knew that we had to choose a new king or queen that would ensure that the Kingdom stayed strong. What’s a better way than giving all of our subjects at a chance of becoming the new ruler? I thought it was a great idea! The Eagle made all of the plans though, i’m more of an enforcer than rule maker.” The Snake sat down in the biggest chair and crossed his legs. “I’ll sit here and wait for you to all make your challenges. The Eagle will pop in from time to time whenever he wants. I’ll do the same, but whoever’s in control is random and so is how long they are in control. While there is the incentive that if you attempt to challenge us to escape that i’ll kill you, there’s an incentive to not kill us. If we die the guards are all ordered to kill any and all servants, guests, and even animals in the castle at the time. This is told to everybody who enters. Only true failures would risk it all to kill us.” The Snake looked around at them all before pulling out his sword. “What, do you need an invitation? You all know the rules, if you don’t i’ll remind you! Challenge each other to a duel or dance or don’t. The more gifts you have the better your chance though! One challenge can be issued by one person!” Snake watched and smiled as the guests all started quickly talking to each other in attempts to discuss who would challenge who. Some were discussing how to escape. There were a few making alliances. A few decided they weren’t going to trust anybody. Nobody would’ve guessed that, by the end of the day, multiple people will have died.

The group quickly followed the orders of the multiple personality king. They all thought he was crazy and maybe, just maybe, he would reveal at last second this was all just a bad joke and it was only a regular party. Reality hit them when he led them to a room that was split in half. On one side there was a mat that filled most of the side and an array of weapons placed next to it. "Over there," He pointed to the mat and weapons next to it. "is where you will all be acting on your duels. Over there," He pointed to the other side which was just a mat with several parchments next to it. "is where you will be participating in your dances. The challenger will be allowed to choose what the music played by my musicians will be. Now, usually I would kill one of the losers by a vote. Always fun! But for the first voting phase, i'll give you guys some breathing room. I had my adviser do some reports on you. One of you is a seasoned killer. Always a great thing to find out in this type of game! I'll give them some rules though, you may only kill a loser and you can only kill them if you have beaten at least one player after a kill. You may kill a loser this phase even if you are not in a challenge though. If you don't follow the rules i'll turn you into dinner!"

The host waved his hand and pointed at the Mole and Phoenix. "Both of you... Are dancing. Mole chooses the song. We continue down the list in the order the challenges were made." The Snake eagerly watched the challenges.

The Mole and the Phoenix stepped up and shook each others hands. They both started dancing when the music began and it was apparent who was the winner. Even before the loser tripped on their feet and nearly skewered themselves on a stray spear.

The Mole has beaten the Phoenix in a dance!

The Woodcock and the Baboon noticed the failure of a dance and decided they would together out do them, not matter who won or lost. They both did a cooperative dance and bowed when the music was finished. The Snake decided that:

The Woodcock has beaten the Baboon in a dance!

The Fox was competitive and decided he would not lose to the Baboon. Especially with a mask like that! They both danced with all their hearts until the loser attempted to do a complex move and fell over.

The Penguin and the Mole stepped up. They both bowed before the Penguin immediately started dancing. They had a head-start and the loser was clearly decided.

The Panther and the Cockroach were both carefree spirits and danced to the music as if it were a party. The Snake didn't like this but he knew a winner had to be decided.

The Kangaroo smiled smugly at the Fox. "Going to trip again?" The Fox growled at them and started dancing before the music started. The Kangaroo and the Fox both danced bravely, but a winner was ultimately decided.

The Mantis and the Phoenix were next up. The Phoenix clearly didn't notice the beat or what they were even doing as they were spending the entire dance attempting to fence. "Wait, I thought this was the dueling pad!" The Snake didn't allow him to retry and it was apparent that he lost from this.

The Wolf and Bat both looked at each other with obvious intent of winning. "Sorry, i'm gonna have to take the trophy here!" The Bat smiled. "Don't be so sure about that!" The Wolf and Bat continued to dance to see who was better even as the result was decided.

The Rooster and the Otter both stepped up, only for the latter to raise his hands. "Sorry, I didn't really expect us to do the challenge. I was just joking! Can I still deny that?" The Snake shook their head and revealed the result.

My personal alchemist has a potion that is able to force the body to heal it self. The wizard helped him of course. Fox and Panther, both of you are up."

The Fox and the Panther looked at the different weapons of deadliness and size. The Panther wasn't sure what to do and closed his eyes to grab the thing he felt closest. He thought he had sure luck and stepped up to the mat without looking at his weapon only to see that the Fox was holding a long sword. He looked at his own weapon and realized that he held a small club. The Fox rushed forward and slashed the club in half while the Panther stood, dumbfounded by his luck. "Do you concede or do I have to make you bleed?" The Panther raised his hands. "I concede! Me and my rotten luck!"

The Mantis held a small dagger while the Raccoon held a Mace. "Really, you're going to beat me with that?" The Mantis smiled and threw the danger into the throat of the Raccoon. "Still think it's weak?" A servant rushed forward to pull out the dagger and tend to the Raccoon's wounds.

The Dog and the Penguin both agreed that they would use no weapon. The Dog cracked his knuckles and rushed forward to the Penguin only to be met with a foot to the chest. As the Dog was knocked down the Penguin jumped up and raised his fist to punch the Dog in the nose. As it was inches away the Dog grabbed the Penguin's fist and twisted it in a way where a sickening crack was heard. The Penguin let out a cry as the Dog punched him in the throat and pushed him off. The Penguin wasn't done and attempted to stand up until the Dog stomped his head into the ground.

The Fox saw the duel before them and took inspiration against the Baboon. "Wanna do fists only?" The Baboon smiled and nodded. "Always like a fair fight, right?" The Fox couldn't wait and stood up to the mat only to see that the Baboon had tricked him. The Baboon held a serrated dagger. "I'd like you to meet my fist." The Fox's anger couldn't be contained and he let out a roar of anger and started crying. The Baboon looked at him with pity. "I concede. Shouldn't have cheated. My fault."

The Phoenix held a long-sword as the Bat held a slightly longer-sword. (one inch to be exact.) The Phoenix shrugged not knowing how it worked and flimsily swung it at the sword of the Bat. Surprisingly the unexpectedly lazy attack caught the Bat off guard and his sword was knocked out of his grip off the mat. "W-What!? How did a flimsy attack like that work?" The Phoenix let out a cry of joy and drove the sword into the Bat's chest. The Bat fell over as the servant's rushed to his aid.

The group all wandered off after they were given their gifts. There was a single person walking through the walls with their mask off looking for somebody. They've been planning this since they got here. Nobody would know who they were. It was a secret only the King knew. If the secret were to get out, the others would surely kill them. So they had to look for their target with their mask off. If anybody even saw them with their mask in the general area where their target was killed, it would be a fatal mistake. While lost in thought they realized that something was happening. They only heard the light steps of somebody running from an unknown direction. They quickly turned to the left only to be knocked down by an approaching figure. "Why are you following me!? Who are you!?" The Baboon was on top of them holding a serrated dagger to the unknown person's throat. "R-Relax! I'm a servant! I was only following you by the king's orders!" The Baboon let out a sigh of relief and stepped back. "S-Sorry! I thought you were that killer!" They turned around and muttered to them self holding the knife close. "I-I'm allowed to kill them in self defense right?" The Baboon turned around only to be meet with the click of a gun. "I wouldn't know, you're dead." A second later, a gunshot rang out that echoed throughout the entire castle. The Kings themselves were delighted by that sound. "A guest has been killed! I wonder if it was the killer, or the one who is trained in self defense?" Many guests ran toward the area where they heard the gunshot. The remains of a shattered Baboon mask was to the side of them, quickly being surrounded by a pool of blood. An inspection of their body wouldn't reveal anything. The face was far too damaged to even be recognized as anybody. A servant and maid approached them from behind and the servant coughed to get their attention. "Please leave this area and go to the dining hall. The maid here will lead you to the dining hall. While I..." He stared at the body and shuddered. "Don't get payed enough to clean up after one of you. I did agree to this though." The group of 15 followed the maid in fear. Who knew if the masked killer would strike again? The Snake met them all and sat in his chair which was basically a miniature throne. "Hello! Isn't this wonderful? One of you is taking charge already! I can't wait to see..." He looked at the gift list. "Nobody took a free guess? I mean... Yeah sure, you guys don't really know anybody here... Well, that settles it! I'll give you guys a list of identities next voting phase! That will give you an edge and allow you to narrow down your search in hopes of revealing others identities! Another thing however, if you got a lottery ticket, you failed!" He clapped his hands and many servants and maids brought in food and placed them on the long table fit for 20 people. "You may sit if you want!" The guests sat down and looked at the king. "Let's feast like a king! Keep in mind, there's another killer who prefers to get rid of you with what you ingest!" They all looked uneasily at each other. Who's to say that somebody wouldn't have tampered with their food?

Everybody decided that they would take the risk with the food that they ate. The entire dinner was silent as the king silently watched, waiting for any sign of a guest being poisoned. At one point the Dog started coughing, but it was nothing. "Hmm. Maybe it's a slow working poison. Let's continue on to the guesses if anybody wants to make one." The Snake looked at everybody attempting to coax them into guessing. "Cmon, you guys. If you guess correctly they dieee!" The King let out an audible sigh. "Fine. Whatever. You guys are boring. Let's proceed back to the challenge room. For this laziness, the death of the person you vote on executing will be a horrific death."

I'm sorry but I won't allow you to accept all challenges ahead of time. That would give you a huge disadvantage, because I won't allow anybody to change an accept or change a deny as that would be unfair.
I've changed the list so that you accepted the challenge though.

The King stared at them all blankly. "Okay yeah you guys are boring. If you don't want to participate in this game you will be eliminated. Fair warning that the elimination is similar to what the Baboon went through. Except painful. You probably might not even die for a year or longer. Unless of course the winner allows you guys to live. Anyways let's carry on to the challenging!" The king led them back to the challenging mat in hopes that they would now participate.

The king who was currently the Snake, watched eagerly as the challenges took place. First was the duels which were very few. The Fox took place in two of them.

The Fox and the Otter stood up to the mat. The Fox had nothing but his hands while the Otter had only a simple club. "I won't let you get the best of me without a weapon!" The Fox merely stood still and beckoned the Otter forward. The Otter charged in anger and in the span of a few seconds the Otter was on the floor with a brand new broken arm.

Next the Fox was against the Phoenix. The Phoenix gulped nervously as the previous challenge had slightly lowered his confidence. In fact his legs were shaking as he stood up. The Fox held a long mace in his right hand and he swung it around carelessly. The Phoenix had a simple spear. The Fox let out a laugh. "Such a useless weapon in close combat like this. Do you concede, or do I have to break a few limbs?" Those words were enough for the Phoenix to throw the spear toward him, but his aiming was a bit off and it instead nearly struck the King. "Disqualified! Do that again and i'll execute you!"

Up next was the Bat against the Dog. The Dog had gone with a weapon that traded range and speed for tremendous power. He held a sledgehammer in both his hands while the Bat had gone for a silver hook attached to a chain. The Bat quickly charged and started running around the Dog in circles while slashing, taunting, yawning, and wrapping the chain around him. When the chain wrapped all the way around he roughly pulled and the chain squeezed powerful enough that a few of the Dog's bones were broken.

The king decided that instead of having everybody challenge separately he would instead have them do a small ball dance. "Pair up with your partners. I will hold multiple dances if there are people in multiple challenges. Wait your turn if you don't have a partner and if you have already danced do what you wish. I am only here to ensure that you guys play. I can't stop you from having your own kind of fun." Then the entirety of the group that wished to dance did what they wanted. They all had a blast until the host revealed who the winners were in the pairs. It looked like quite a few people were able to be placed on the chopping block. Nobody had a single clue what the King had in plan for the entirety of the group.

The king was wearing an eagle mask when the guests returned from their challenges. "Well, that took somewhat of a long time. You're all ready for what comes next? An execution is going to take place. When the Majority is reached voting will be canceled and the execution will happen after everybody submits a gift to us. I've prepared something... Special. The Snake was a bit angry that there were so few deaths. He's willing to push you guys forward. As such when this person is executed, I will give you all a compiled list of each and every single individual in this castle that is participating in this game. You may use it to your advantage. Carry on. I won't influence anybody." (ps I was lazy with the flavor so hopefully BRVR will edit this to make it not lazy) (Pps, I did.)

The king who was currently wearing the Snake mask let out a joyous laugh. "Yes! Yes! Finally! I get to kill somebody!" Then the King saw the gifts. "Y-You took..." He let out an even bigger laugh. "Looks like the Dog won twice! He was executed and won the lottery! For that, your death won't happen soon and you will probably get to live to see most of the guests die! Guards! Prepare the nails and boards!" The Dog looked around at all of them and put his hands on his head. He let out a small a laugh and then rubbed his hair back. "Of course. Of course... I'm... I'm dying here. I'm going to die. No matter what I do. I'm going to die. This is... I don't know." The Dog looked at the ceiling then he pulled out a dagger. "I'm not dying without a fight." The King stood up quickly. "Guards!" Unfortunately, for the king, there was only one guard who was only a guard because he was the son of a noble. The Guard nervously approached with a long sword only for the Dog to instantly rush forward and drive the dagger into his throat. The King stood up and pulled out his own long silver sword. "Enough of this. If you can't accept your death then you will die by my hands." The King stepped forward holding the sword with both hands and pointed it towards the Dog. "Perhaps you can rescue everybody?" The Dog smiled. "I will." They rushed forward with the dagger only for the King to swipe with the sword and sliced the dagger in half. The Dog let out a gasp as the King threw the sword down and punched the rest of the dagger out of the Dog's hand. "You needed the handicap. I've never been as good with my hands as I have with a sword." The King put both his hands up in fists. "Well? Come on. Or do you accept your execution?" The Dog rushed forward and threw a fist into the stomach of the king. The King fell down and the Dog kicked him in the face. "Pathetic." The Snake crawled backwards and quickly threw the Snake mask off to reveal a horribly diseased face and quickly fumbled for the Eagle's mask and put it on.

The Dog rushed forward and attempted to stomp the Eagle's head only for them to roll out of the way and jump up. "The Snake may be a horrid fighter, but I am highly skilled in unarmed combat. Prepare yourself, for this is your last few moments." The Eagle tackled the Dog onto the floor and punched him in the face. The Dog was disorientated and the Eagle was able to stand up and stomp over his face multiple times. The Dog was unconscious at that point, but the Eagle didn't stop and continued to stomp until it wasn't recognizable as a human head anymore. The Eagle dusted himself off and looked at the rest of them. "Let's continue onto the dinner phase. Let that be an example to the rest of you. That is the punishment for not accepting your death."

The group sat down and ate dinner until somebody started to cough. The Phoenix was the unfortunate person who started coughing. She let out a gasp and looked at everybody around her. "I-I'm... Dying!" She coughed out a bunch of blood and pointed at the Bat. "Y-You killed... The... Babo-" Then she fell over dead. The Bat looked at all of them quickly.

Everybody looked around in fear. The Woodcock looked at the King. "She had premium food. You were supposed to stop that. Why is she dead?" The King smiled. "One of you is the cause of that. Are you not?" The Woodcock looked at the Penguin. "You got the Phoenix killed. She should be alive. It was you!" The Woodcock picked up a knife and rushed for the Penguin.

There was a commotion on the other side of the table. The Penguin and the Cockroach were both talking fiercely until the Cockroach stood up. "Screw this! I'm not talking to you for another second! When's dinner over?" The king looked at him. "Really? Don't you want to use your free guess?" The Penguin stared at them and stood up. They whispered something into the Cockroach's ear. The Cockroach started shaking a bit. Then they took a deep breath and turned to the King. "Yes. I will." They turned to the Penguin and threw a punch to their face.

The Cockroach connected and the Penguin was thrown backwards. "You think you can just confidently blackmail me? Not even think that i'm going to stay there and just take it? I'm not standing for that. You're not going to take control of my life. I'm not just gonna sit there and take it." The Penguin stood up and pulled out multiple envelopes. "All of these are the same thing and it's all yours. Take another step and I will reveal them." Then the Kangaroo stood up and approached the side of the Penguin. "Really? Why not just reveal them now? Hopefully that will make them die of fear. Just reveal them." The Penguin turned to them. "Finally. Somebody with brains." Then the Kangaroo pulled a dagger and pushed it against the Penguin's neck. "Fight them like a man. If you kill them then I will protect you. You try to use secrets i'm sure all of us will go against you." The Penguin let out a shaky nod. "Y-Yeah! Sure!" Then when the Kangaroo pushed the Kangaroo backwards. "Like hell I am!" The Penguin threw out a bunch of envelopes and ran away. Everybody ignored them and chased after the Penguin. "Guards, clean up those envelopes. Perhaps I can use them at a later date. Don't interfere with them. Let them kill the Blackmailer."
The Penguin was running up flights of stairs and everybody soon became tired except him and the Cockroach. He reached the top only to realize that he has been going up a tower. The Penguin sat down at the top and looked down the side. Any sort of fall would mean death. He turned around and saw the Cockroach staring straight at him with rage. "You tried to get them to kill me. I turned that around pretty quick, huh?" The Penguin smile. "If only they knew. Once more? As a team?" The Cockroach nodded. "Yeah. Once more." The Penguin raised a knife and aimed it at their chest. "Same time. Now." The Cockroach and the Penguin both stabbed the Penguin in the chest. The Penguin fell backwards just as more guests started reaching the top. "You killed them!?" The Cockroach nodded. "Yeah. By myself." They all walked back down to be greeted by the King. "Welcome back! Prepare to challenge each other now. I know that was very exciting, but it's still a game. We're all going to continue playing until the victor is decided."

It is now Challenge Phase 3!

Flavor might go here later but the error made was that I forgot to send out the blackmailer results, which would have caused the death of a player incorrectly. However, another player was blackmailed and did not post during this phase, so they will die.

I’m tired

THAT'S SUCH A BORING PHASE CHANGE! I'LL DO IT MUAHAHAHAHA! (Note that the flavor is only based on how the Royal hammered which is what I read I have no idea what the actions were since i have not been on this site for a while.)

The group was attempting to decide who they were going to put on the chopping block this voting phase. Last time it was the Dog who struck against the king in an attempt to escape. That put the idea that they weren't going to escape unless they followed the rules into their head. Whoever was chosen as the target would definitely die this time. Everybody was pointing fingers and defending themselves. The Wolf was smiling as the king was still reading out the changing votes and the Royal had been on his side. "A Majority has been reached!" Everybody went quiet as the King read out the final list. "The final vote was by the Royal! The Wolf is being executed!" The King put down the list he was holding and beckoned for the Wolf to follow him. The Wolf stared in shock. The Royal was on his side the entire voting phase! What made them change their mind?! "Well, Wolf. Your time has come. Fittingly, the pack leader of your group has executed you. Since a fellow Royal has executed you I will be giving you the royal punishment that I have been put in place in case any nobles or royal blood were to be given a death sentence. A beheading. It will be quick and painless. Consider yourself lucky." The Wolf reluctantly followed the King. The group followed behind them as the king led them to a very large room with a single guillotine in the middle and a basket placed in front of it for the head to fall in. "Wolf, you know what to do." The Wolf looked around at all of them with fear. After a minute the Wolf sat down and placed his head in the required area. "I applaud you. You are accepting your death with dignity. The Dog didn't. Before the new king is chosen I will hold a ceremony to commend your bravery." The Wolf heard this and let out a small laugh. "Thank you my king." Then quicker than lightning the guillotine activated and they all saw the Wolf's head disconnect from his body and let out a thunk as it landed inside the basket. "What a wonderful execution! He took it with dignity and as such he is rewarded. Let's go to dinner. Also I forgot to mention this. The Fox has won the lottery! Take your extra gifts."
