My only regret from this game is not having more time to spam gifs with penguin power.

I'm not sure that I ended up liking the secret voting but the boonus rounds were a neat mechanic

To be honest, I think the likelihood of a mechanical town win would have been more likely except for the technical complexity of the setup.

It took the following for this scum win:
>A new player confusing two entirely separate mechanical results (fruit vs. sticky fruit)
>A town player using an incredibly negative-utility ability to scum n1
>A scum player pocketing, by accident, the player that controlled the frequency charges of night actions (indirectly)
>Town losing a significant number of 1v1s (S_S vs. TLK, BEF vs. profii, etc.)
>A town player lying about whether they were voting a super saint and thus baiting a vig shot

And that's not even including the BEF claim surrounding the governor action lol

Scum played well but town has a hard time winning the war when it is losing every individual battle, in addition to several unintentional arguable-gamethrows/serious mistakes.

Given how many battles town lost, that scum won this by as thin a margin as they did reinforces how town-sided this setup was :P

I mean, I explained that Nero was the best candidate to have charged S_S on a profii scum flip and that the neighborhood timing claim was highly suspect... I think the mech solve was basically there it just was buried under other nonsense.

I do think the timing of the giving of gifts could have used some work. Letting S_S choose his gift target after knowing what other gifts the scum team received seems like something that would need to be cleaned up if doing something similar again. The game probably needed a dedicated twilight phase with slightly longer night+twilights as a result.

Gotta be honest I'm kinda indifferent about the loss mostly because being governor'd like that is the most insane thing to ever happen to me in a mafia game LOL

I disagree with this being a highlight though, there was nothing interesting or remarkable in Lamees deciding to litigate Crown of Misery here while it was ongoing.
