I think it’s more Towny than sound but it’s a bit of both. I disagree on his point about the duplicated self-vote but agree with his point about scum paying attention to their partners’ posts. Even though I disagree with the first point though I do see where he’s coming from and think it’s a Towny train of thought to have.

SS I've only gone as far back as open 728. But from that game to the present day you have only self voted as scum. Do you have a game that you have done so as town?

Do I ever!
Interestingly, someone selfvoted to copy me in that game as well, and they were scum.

rce can you please elaborate on what about SS's opening was wolfy to you?
He just did this as scum in a game where someone else replicated a recent scum opening and was townread for it. They were town but that isn't the point.
Having selfvoted as scum in a previous game where somebody else in this game was present, why do you think he would presume that he'd be townread for it again?
In post 29, RCEnigma wrote:Why'd you put a vote down before you had an answer to your question?
I found it somewhat suspicious that you jumped on the SS wagon and acted like it was because he had a wolfy opening (but didn't specify why his opening was wolfy at the time) and made this post:
In post 22, RCEnigma wrote:SS I....I can see you...
Which definitely looks like posturing to me.

Just generally, your early game felt really unnatural.

Why?

I think it means that you were online at the time RCE wrote that post, and RCE wanted to call you out for not posting. However I think that's somewhat disingenuous considering he didn't really give you anything to respond to at the time.

Was t about him being online. Just that I was in that game and this one.

I'm inclined to believe SS might be town due to how many people came to his defense over it. Possibly to buddy him. Though that's not strong.

This reasoning looks legit to me, though I'm not quite sure I buy it as a tell.

In post 48, HitAlt wrote:
In post 44, Something_Smart wrote:Why are you drawing a connection between selfvoting and avoiding pressure?
Because it's RvS and I think especially newer players tend to gravitate towards not voting at all/selfvoting to avoid being on an early wagon.
Perhaps something like not wanting to be caught in a set group? Dunno.
I somehow missed your selfvote-post, but I also don't really think you'd be "afraid" to vote where ever, so I don't think the two self-votes are necessarily alike.
I totally don't buy this reasoning at all, but I can sort of believe someone could believe that.

I found that weird also...It’s RVS why does he need to wait to cast his vote for you?
Thank you for your promptness Ausuka and Ausuka#2.

The same way I voted with intention due to what I saw was a scummy self vote, I assume Ausuka voted with intention. Though I wanted to know her motivation, not that other people think RVS votes should be considered nai.
I don't really care what you want, and nothing in my post interfered with your question to Ausuka. But at any rate I didn't say anything about RVS votes being alignment-indicative. What I said was... let me look up a bit... "Why wait? When should someone put a vote down?"

Oh look, that's a question.

Id rather talk about the reactions to the vote, not the back and forth about your/famous meta. Cuz frankly, Any eg read is weak, and its the escalation of force that builds a read. imo.

Like all this eg stuff is kinda nai until we form real wagons.

and Ive got enigma's voting here to discuss.
