On a serious note, I don't think I can "counterplay" FL regardless of what he does, so at the end of the day I can only hope and pray he's town.
It's like he's on the complete opposite end of the spectrum as a lurker is- a lurking playstyle has little counterplay because.... there are no posts to... do anything with. Whereas whatever FL says is going to be a gambit/reaction test/experiment/whathaveyou and this is valid for both scum!FL and town!FL.

Couple this with recency bias and a bit of humor

Ive decided that while I dont "like" hitalt, they are putting forth content and can thus be sorted, in time.
Baez, you have to stop clamming up. Its a bad look.

I liked slaxx's entrance. I liked rce's earlier posts. I liked what I did get from cyb, and I do kind of townlean on alchem, though that may be premature.

This actually would have been pretty +town for FL like 4 months ago. The only reason I wouldn't townbin him for it now is the open admittance to altering his game since continuing his meta would have probably opened him to be lynchable/mislynchable day 1.

I'm currently leaning fusco town. But it's tentative since I switch between scum/town every other string of posts. Think the multiball comment would be a town comment anywhere but normal queue.

You can disagree. thats life in a social game.

I like to make a mental note of it, and then look to see if that player consistently makes those kind of points. A lack of consistency in their posts and thinking usually means they are hiding something or scum.

As far as 'pinging' players. I mean, it depends. Are they 'maybe scum would do this' or 'this seems really odd and out of character'? The former is normal paranoia in a game where you have to scrutinize people. Some will do things that are odd. The later needs to be asked about, or you need to find other ways to ascertain what they mean.

Who pings you? You wont get answers if you dont ask. Or maybe you want somebody else to ask for you? Thats a possible strategy, but not a good way to be townread or play day1.
