But, he seems a good person to pressure, because I think his reaction will be interesting.
My attitude? My posting history? Are you serious?

We're 4 pages into day 1 and I've barely posted at this point. The only post I've made so far that should be interpreted as pissy is my STFU of Suspicion on Grimmy, but it didn't seem to bother him as much as it bothers you and I even tried to excuse myself a few posts later (which you're either ignoring or haven't read yet).

You; sir, are pushing a wagon out of pure opportunism. I can at least understand all the random votes and the OMGUSing going on here, but you look like you're attempting to pick the ball up and build a case out of thin air.

Where in SD are you? I'm always looking for someone to go drinking with. I've only been here since November so you'll have to approximate your distance from me in terms of how long it would take to drive to get there from where I am ;)

I'm living downtown right now, in the (aptly) little italy area.
Oh. You live in NYC. I missed that... Well all mobsters are from NY, right? ;)

I agree, this is not the place, I posted once about it, and just as we left random voting. If we wanted to talk about the game we could do it in any context.

How much effort does a welcome cost? A PBPA? Not quite the same, eh? I'm trying to catch up in all my games, but I've had 0 free time.

I don't want to have to ask for a replacement, but if I can't get back into this game by this week, I will to help the game.

I don't think a PBPA is necessary. And, incidentally, who would you do a PBPA on?

I'm looking for some kind of contribution. That doesn't even need to be a full re-read. People can say things that sound scummy in isolation. My point is that your post welcoming the new people shows that you're reading the thread. Your response to me shows that you're still reading the thread. Surely you must have noticed something.
If I post content, I like it to be well thought out. I try not to comment out of context.

But I will look through the last 5 pages or so and post on my feelings of the current happenings.

So you agree with me, and prove my point? I haven't been posting much, because I've been unable to post something of real value. So I have only those posts.

My position is not inconsistant with my play in any other game. But thank you for pointing out just how inactive I have been, I hadn't realized the extent.

To answer your question, I would do a PBPA on roflcopter. And I think I will, as he is the one that has been rubbing me wrong most of the game.

This is horrible logic. And you're trying to divert a vote with it. Sounds like you're trying to link farside with your scumbuddy, since you know farside could turn up town, and think people would take it for granted that makes dcorbe town too.

Coming from me, it may not hold as much weight, but lurker hunts are so detrimental as they are such a non-tell. Spuratic non-content posting can ride a scum to victory, but not complete non-posting. Replacements are much better.

I didn't think anyone forgot about it. But ever think that a PBPA was what I intended to do, but as I said, I was BUSY? One minute a PBPA is not needed, though I tried, next you're trying to crucify me over it. I was not lurking, I only became active in other games yesterday, where I also posted in this game 3 times. You were less active then me. So tell me, exactly what level of participation do you want from me good sir?

Rishi wrote:Surye - What I want from you is consistency. It seems that you disappear for several days at a time, then post several times in a couple days to make it seem like you're not lurking. Then you disappear again. I know that you've been posting consistently in your other games.

I guess I don't like how you just pop up a lot when you're under fire and then disappear again. You shouldn't post because me (or anyone else) wants you to post. You shouldn't do a PBPA because you're asked, either. You should do it because you want to be helpful towards the game and find scum. It feels like your goal is to not get lynched. You're not in the least bit interested in actually participating.
I stated, maybe not in this thread and if not I am sorry, that I started summer classes, and started working full-time, which is when my participation suffered. I am doing my best, and like you said, I post. I could get replaced, but I don't want to, and I don't think it's best for the game.

I didn't say I was going to do a PBPA because I was asked to, you said specifically not to, I said I WANTED too, because I think there is something with roflcopter, but that takes hours I was was not able to find. Luckily, he continued acting scummy and I was able to point that out as a start.

What makes me the worst lurker in this game, and do you think that makes me scum? If not, lets turn our efforts to scum hunting since I have already been posting before you posted.

Not really it's the fact that in 12 pages this is all you had to offer as any suspicion and nothing really added to the conversation what so ever.
Worse part is it wasn't until you said hello and Rishi called you on your lack of putting anything in the game that I realized how little you have participated an anything. The least you could do is add real imput based on everyone and not just a 3 line paragraph about 2 people you think are suspicions based on their interaction.
I pointed out your quibbling, and you jumped to vote me. You didn't say any of this.

Hmmm.. sorry for feeling so disconnected from this game, bit off more then I can chew as usual. But another on of my games just ended, so hopefully I'll be a better player now. Couple notes, muffinhead and farside both are pushing me as scum, and muffinhead especially in connection with grimmy. If you end up taking it seriously, I'd pay special attention to grimmy. I find it a common scum tactic to call out two people, and push hard on one of them, it somehow try to vindicate the other when the lynched turn out town. Which is nonsense of course.

Also, specific scumhunting in the face of more information on one side then the other is not a scumtell, it's a good town play. All scum are bad.

More basically, it means circular logic, it never resolves to a conclusion, and is therefore useless to town. Though scum can use it to stop at any conclusion they want. So WIFOM == bad.

The extra small print that was going on between roflcopter and I yesterday. You responded to your small print conversation. (some people call it whispering.)
Ah, most of the time I'm mafiascumming with a console based webbrowser (ELinks) so I don't see the size differences, only color/bold/italic. :3 I'll have to take a look at the thread again at home when I can use firefox.

Grimmy wrote:I agree that Rofl is the third mason, but it doesnt explain why he is so sure of you.

Is he sure of you because you dropped your vote on the mason?
and it is a mason that died within the day or so afterwards.

All in all, Im not sure why Farside is "cleared" as town.

FOS (repeated?) K7 and Surye: for actively lurking

Grimmy
trying to peice together the last two scum
I'm not actively lurking. I was V/LA and busy and absent, now I'm discussing and getting a bearing on the game.

1st) roflcopter - known mason
2nd) muffinhead I took out because I've seen him play as scum and this is not his normal play.
That leaves Grimmy, Suyre and K7. I'm not sure why K7 is in the clear. He's lurker no matter what his alignment so I never dismiss him.
I agree with this, except farside herself it not clear in my mind. Grimmy is a common overlap for everyone, I think he is the right lynch.

roflcopter wrote:as i explained earlier, he didn't know that the scum were in two groups of two, as he was still expecting to be looking for another werewolf.

this proves both that he's not paying any attention to his surroundings, since this is an open game, and that he isn't scum, b/c he would have known there are two mafia and therefore there were only two werewolves. he's also obviously not a mason, but i'm convinced only town would make that mistake in this game.
Ah I had missed that. Yes I would say not paying attention to the set up knowing his style. Do you think muffinhead and surye both voting against Grimmy is scummy? I'm thinking Survy as scum because of the interaction with Rishi and Rishi ending up dead. I know more WIFOM, but I could see scum reaction scared to pressure.
Scared to pressure? I assuaged him, there was no pressure by the end of the day. I hope you have more then that :P And my name is SURYE :P

roflcopter wrote:surye if you're really town then convince us because lynching town in this situation means town loses.

which is something you don't seem overly concerned about atm
Convince you? No one had to convince you all I was scum. I see no other case here other then I interacted with Rishi.

Lynching Grimmy is our only chance at winning. I like lynching someone who's on EVERYONE's FOS list. Especially in a game with so little to go on like this one.

Overall I did terrible this game and felt day 1 they should have just lynched me when I said too.
I just like scumdar overlaps :P
