my best guesses are duck and shot? fire is possible too but I think I'd prefer shot over it since shot doesn't really have a double meaning, pistol is also theoretically possible but I don't think people really hunt with pistols (as opposed to rifles)

Palm is the only one of those I'm moderately confident in

Car is probably better than pool actually (driving on the shore)

I would lean boot & glove personally, but all of these fit well enough that he might have forgotten one of these was on the board (or maybe the 3rd is just a neutral and he's fine with those chances)

microscope seems fine

I think limosine is pretty likely since a sunroof can be considered having a lid

things I definitely don't want to guess are whip and carrot

the last one I've got no idea for atm

i think there are better clues to link pool+limo+microscope all together (expensive, fancy, etc) so I don't think it's microscope

I want to say plate out of all these, but angel with the halo I could see it being too, you can't really say 'top' or anything similar and obvious as a clue without us leaning towards carrot or parachute or mine i think.
