I didn't think it completely through but the basic idea behind a quick lynch would be like rolling the dice and sacrificing someone before scum has a chance to setup a lynch on the 8ball target. We would just have to hope we don't hit the 8ball but honestly it's only a small chance that we randomly lynch the 8 ball.

And yea. its been my observation over the past month that chen is competent but too quiet and kind of low hanging in the early game.

I think it might be due to the fact that there was not really an RVS section thst got everyone loosened up. We went all in with the 8ball vote and it feels like it made the game motionless.

I don't get lynched D1 very often. I'm more beneficial to scum later on as town because unless I somehow get conftown then I am always lynchbait. I accept this and in no way am I trying to play 4d-chess or setup some long-term strategy and lure scum in on my wagon but apparently they just can't help themselves.

If all chosen players are town, town immediately win. Otherwise, the game continues into Night phase with no deaths, and the Mafia cannot kill that Night.

Coalition:
Vote for players in this manner: VOTE: A, B, ... , X. Votes will be considered the same if they are on the same set of players, regardless of the order. If the vote is on a wrong number of players, the vote will be moved to Not Voting.
If a majority group is not selected by deadline, the power is forfeited and the game will proceed into Night phase.

So basically, if I understand it right myself. .. We select 9 players (with 16 alive now). If all of those players are Town then it's game over with a Town victory.

I think mechanically it’s a better idea to lynch a pair that’s two PoE players, because even if they both flip town we clear out the PoE more for later. I think this is an especially good idea because we had a D1 scum lynch.

Who do you suggest? Anyway, the fact that both my preferred lynches are off the table based on who they’re paired with, makes me really confident in two of my scumreads: overkill11 and TD.

It’s clearly no accident they were paired with RC/tmck. I think that’s extremely telling. I think scum kept two town pairs together: Taly/JE, me/mbaki and I obvtown read Ank, so no way am I touching Clem today.

My initial gut reaction was the TL/tmck pair. But I think chen/Titus is the optimal choice.

My last game with BEF he!town faked a guilty on me!town and I still had to carry his ass to a win - I do not respect his play in mafia. I haven't played wolf him before, and him being town vs Fusco is probably town indicative (though not super), but I also think he's close to +equity for wolves to leave alive so idrc. Oka I had as town early d1 and that shifted so idfk.

Well, it was basically a PoE conclusion for me.

RC/OK -- Could be scum here but I'm not sold on either. Would probably be my 2nd lynch option.
mbaki/nance -- Still 50-50 on mbaki for me. Don't think it's worth losing strong town!nancefloor though.
oka/me -- obviously not wanting to lynch myself, regardless of my oka read, which is null btw.
TD/tmck -- too obvious? too much WIFOM? Would actually be a nice slot to lynch but I don't believe we will net the most info from lynching here.
ank/clem -- Again, two strong players and if either is town we lose an asset. If both are scum we're fucked anyways...
crea/chem -- similar to RC/OK. Is there any good info to gain here atm?
taly/JE -- I'm not feeling Johnny's act but lynching here is also pointless if we want something substantial out of the lynch.

I knew there was something wrong with the NF/RC dynamic. The way people followed NF's reads without much thought should have been a clear indication that they were either powerwolves or being pocketed to do scum's bidding.

The scumteam manipulated the game state perfectly. Lynching obv town PB and Titus was very clever.

I was surprised Creature was scum tbh I have not seen him play this way as scum.

Maybe next time don’t sr a slot and get all mad and defensive when people ask you to back up that read. Calling Maria scum w/o ever attempting to case her looked like flat out open wolfing to me. And omgussing everyone who sr you, also didn’t help matters.

As for Chenn, I was overly paranoid about him being potential mislynchbait. Both BEF, Tohru and especially Ank recognized he was scum.
