/in I have been dying to play

edit:

ok I made an account that's pretty sweet.

Personally, for 5e, I like to start with the "background" of the character and work backwards to class/race, if anyone is interested in my general method.

I have a question for the DM: how do our characters know each other?

I vote for 5 bards singing at each other.

srsly though I'm flexible but support party load out strategy what do other people want to roll?

but I would totally do a 5 bard party.

I thought about it and kinda changed my mind. XO can take my spot if you were trying to keep it @ 5 players.

God I took that because it was then only one on the list too. Is there other options? I was vaguely remembering a feat that gave extra skills or expertise?

nice

The soft velvet of Cheater’s robes hung limp around his large body and clung to his sweat drenched leggings. He was greatfull that the skinny wizard stopped every once in a while as it gave him time to rest and perhaps bother his manservant to wipe his brow. He really had no idea what the strange mystic was up to during these intervals, but the measurements and rituals reminded Cheater of his science tutors back home, who would drone on and on about this or that until the hour was up and then they would leave. Cheater hated science because there was no luck involved, but he liked this wizard because he dawdled and slowed the party’s pace, which allowed Cheater to rest, and beg his squire to fan just a bit more vigorously.

Cheater Blought claps his hands together and exclaims "Music AND a Show?! The gods smile down on us despite the hellish heat!"

Smiling widely, Cheater motions for his engineer to set up the collapsable stool on the road to watch the enthusiastic magician.

Rolling insight to see what he's really up to ;)

cheaters bulk seems to float along somewhere under his voluminous robes and he glides over to the rising beast. A sad look crosses his face as he cuts deep through the beasts neck. The rhino falls silently, killed by the expert blow. Cheater calls his manservant to saw off the ivory.

"This guy..." Cheater thinks to himself as loosens his cummerbund and mops sweat off out of his hairline.

"Friends," Cheater addresses the party. "Let us travel now together down the road into town, and see if there is anyone who will buy my ivory!"

I'm going to roll persuasion to compel my party-mates (especially the VLA ones) to follow me into town.
