Im not crying about it. The dothraki were completely annihilated. The showrunners arent capable of portraying post invasion culture clashes well so they decided on narrative genocide.

Like the Daenerys plotline always had a white savior issue. That's undisputable. But topping it off by WIPING OUT the swarthy soldiers entirely responsible for her agency as a sovereign is 100 percent a hill worth dying on

Yeah thats pretty much how it goes down. The inner workings of the storytelling logic are irrelevant to the overarching racism present.
Also keep in mind it's not a value judgement on the show, I still am gonna enjoy the show, but it definitely reflects racist attitudes that I find problematic.

Anyway the episode was good! A whole lot of complaints about it on r/freefolk and r/gameofthrones (apparently the whole ending got leaked so I'm steering clear of the former) but I honestly thought it was a great episode. Poor Dany though. Also kinda pissed off at Sansa for sullying the Stark honor.

The naval sneak attack is okay because boats can be sneaky f the geography allows it. Poor baby tho.
Also I very much enjoy staring at Dan or David's whoever it is fuckin contour beard like why does anyone think they can get away with that look and why does society allow it?

Is this really Zor? The writing style seems off.
Anyway I would be a bit disappointed if the leak was true but that's just my own deal, Zulfy not liking the ending doesn't mean Zoraster isn't gonna like the ending. I'll refrain from mentioning it again tho.

The thing that I hated the most is that it didn't feel like I was watching the world of Game of Thrones come to a close, I was just watching a bunch of scenes that the showrunners wrote in order to end the show.

She and Drogon were more ruthless and effective against civilians tham the army of the dead.
I dont think people are upset about the whole mad queen conclusion, just that it's brought about in an incredibly lazy way, and the explanation for it is just quacking word for word what DnD said at the end of the episode. (She was stoic when her abusive brother who had just threatened to slice her fetus open got killed, therefore burning millions of people makes sense, etc.)
