From a blustery Internet Television Studio in northeast Ohio, it's everybody's game of strategy, knowledge & fun. It's Tic Tac Dough! And now, here's your host, that feeling of regret that you didn't order the most delicious thing on the menu, Xalxe!

Hello hello hello! Thank you, thank you all! Wonderful to see you all--hello, wow! Thank you!

Well folks, we've had our first retirement. pablito has walked away with his substantial winnings, so we've got two brand-new contestants ready to play our game. Let's meet them, shall we?

First up, in our champion spot, robbed of his victim, it's mallowgeno!

And in our challenger's seat, you know him, you love him, it's VashtaNeurotic!

Thank you both so much for taking the time to join us today. Let's have a look at your board!

Image

She's beautiful and I love her.

As always, we have two red categories up there. First, our Secret Category. It could be about anything! If you get that question right, you'll double the current pot, so that's very exciting. NFL Players is also red, that's our Challenge Category. When you pick that square, you'll also choose whether you answer the question or you Challenge your opponent. If you Challenge and they get it right, they get the square, but if they get it wrong, then you get the square!

As always, our outer squares are worth $500 each, and the center square is a two-part question worth $1000. mallowgeno, you're up first, what's your first pick?

Alright Vash, here we are once again at our bonus game: Beat the Dragon.

Image

Nine squares on the board. Eight have money behind them. Get your total up to $1000 and you'll win our prize package.

One of those squares has a Dragon behind it. Find the Dragon, pablito gets very jealous and you lose all the money from this game.

You can walk away with your money at any time and add that amount to your winnings.

It's Mardi Gras, so why not take a trip to the Big Easy?
First, you'll enjoy a two-night stay at the Courtyard New Orleans! Located in the heart of the French Quarter, experience the vibrant city nightlife, enjoy the best southern cooking around and stay in comfort, all expenses paid!
After that, you'll head to the Caribbean on a Carnival Cruise! Enjoy five nights on a luxury ocean liner, explore tropical paradises and the adventure of a lifetime!
All told, the value of this prize package comes out to $2,178!

Now, that sounds fantastic. So, Vash, which square feels lucky to you?

And we're back! Welcome back! We've got another great game for you, let's meet our contestants!

Our current champion, fresh off a victory, it's VashtaNeurotic!

And our new challenger, flying in from far away, it's Aurathebirb!

Thank you both so much for coming out to play with us tonight, let's take a look at your board!

Image

As always, two special red squares up there. The Secret Category could be about anything, and if you claim that square, you double the pot! Fruit in the corner there is a Play or Pass square. If you don't like the first question I ask, you can Pass for another question in the same category, but you have to answer that second one.

Vash, you're our champion, so you're up first.

It's sports terms, but okay

Also I said a long while ago that I found something unfair about the way the game is played, I reckon I'll just go with saying it now.
Why does the defending 'champion' get to start each game instead of the contender?
I mean, starting a game of tic tac dough DOES give you an advantage... and since the defending champion is better than the new contender more often than not, I think it would be more fair to let the challenging player start the game.
IMO that's partly why pablito and xofelf had some good streaks. And seeing as how the number of waiting players is in double digits, it would be more fun if each of them had a bigger chance to win a game ('bigger' meaning 'less unfair')...

Anyways, good luck lads.

Xalxe, can you please make a comment on this? I think we all should know what YOU think about this, not me.

You are not incorrect that the first player will always have an advantage, it is tic tac toe after all. But I disagree that xofelf and pabs had such long runs because they went first. pablito beat xofelf as a challenger despite not making the obvious move at every turn (which he specializes in), and there hasn't been a game yet where nobody missed a question. pablito and xofelf won a bunch of games because they're good at the game, or at least better than their opponents were.

Also, to your point: it's a game show, and when it was designed, it wasn't meant to be fair. I imagine they decided it was better for ratings if they had a champion making a deep run. Some of Jeopardy's highest ratings came when Ken Jennings was on his streak [citation needed]; people started talking about it and tuning in.

Another $400! That's a winner, congratulations! You're headed to New Orleans!

Before we close out our show here, let's play one final game. We've selected one random member of our studio audience. Come on down, Flicker!

You've been selected for a game we haven't played in a bit called Find the Dragon. On Vash's bonus board, there are four spaces that he didn't open. One of them contains the Dragon. You get one shot. If you find the Dragon, we'll send you home with $200 and this bonus "I Found the Dragon" hat!

So, choose carefully, what'll it be?

From a frustratingly snowy Internet Television Studio in northeast Ohio, it's everybody's game of strategy, knowledge & fun. It's Tic Tac Dough! And now, here's your host, the human embodiment of just missing on an attack roll, Xalxe!

Hello hello hello! Thank you, thank you all! Wonderful to see you all--hello, wow! Thank you!

Lovely to be back, thank you all for your patience. We've renovated, do you like it? Yes, your seats have cupholders now! It's great!

With us today we have two wonderful contestants. I'd say let's meet them, but they're both familiar faces!

First up, our returning champion, on a two-game winning streak and fresh off a bonus game win, it's VashtaNeurotic!

And our challenger, our first-ever returning player, the international man of mystery, it's puzzledan!

Let's have a look at your board, shall we?

Image

Lovely. What a gal. She's really something.

As always, we have two red categories up there. First, our Secret Category. It could be about anything! If you get that question right, you'll double the current pot, so that's very exciting. Comedians is also red, that's a Double or Nothing. If you get that question right, you can choose to go for a second square anywhere on the board. If you get that question right, you get both squares, but if you get it wrong, you lose control of the Comedians square.

As always, our outer squares are worth $500 each, and the center square is a two-part question worth $1000. Vash, as our champion, you're up first.

Shocking!

And, just so we're all clear on the situation: it is impossible for vizIIsto to win this board, as they cannot get three in a row. There is still one option for Vash to get three. If viz gets this square, it's a tie and for the first time we go to a Brand New Board. If Vash gets it, he wins the game.

No pressure.

Now, because we haven't had one of these before, here's how this works! The pot carries over, and whoever ends up winning will win the pot. The loser of the game won't go away empty-handed, they'll get $250 per tie game. If we have three consecutive tie games, well...we'll end the game. Let's say that.

Image

Here's your board for your second game! Our Secret Category, as always, doubles the pot. If you choose the Opponent's Choice, your opponent will be given two categories and will pick one to make you answer. If you get it wrong, the square is just replaced, your opponent doesn't take control of it.

Vash, as you had the next turn, you're up first here.
