Town Novice Flagbearer Backup Encryptor

Starting on D2, if you are eliminated, the entire town loses and is immediately endgamed.

In addition, if an encryptor dies, you will inherit their role.

Named townie, except that this townie also enables any Aliens to have one factional kill every night phase instead of one factional kill for the whole game
When this townie dies, Aliens cannot make nightkills anymore (unless they haven’t killed yet, in which case they keep their usual one-shot factional kill)
This townie is informed of these things N0, as are the aliens

Each Night, you may choose two players to make into Lovers with each other. (They will be informed of this.) If one of them dies that Night or any time afterwards, both die. They will also be given a Private Topic with each other at the start of the next Day. This action will fail if either person it is used on is already a Lover.

Town Post-Restricted Lie Detector


Each night, you may verify whether a post is logically true or false. For posts with multiple statements, all sentences must be true for a true result. "Ambiguous" is a valid result if a post consists of subjective statements or is paradoxical (e.g.: "This statement is false," is paradoxical).

You also have a post restriction that will cause you to be immediately modkilled if you break it, no warnings. You may not claim or otherwise hint at your role in any way. Anything that uses info from your role and goes beyond "I think X is scum/town because ~reasons..." (note that "~reasons" here is literal text) is likely to get you modkilled. (You can of course still push cases/white-knight people because of investigative results). Unless directly prompted (with no hinting at it from your end), you may not reference your post-restriction in any way. (To be clear, if you are allowed to reference your posting restriction, you may only confirm you have one, no further detail is allowed.)

Town N1 Activated Traitor


During Night 1, you may choose to defect from the town and become a mafia traitor instead. The mafia will be informed of your defecting (but not your exact identity as is typical of mafia traitors); however, you will not be told who the mafia are.

If the game ends day 1, or if you choose not to defect, then you are simply a named townie.

You possess 3 votes, but each vote is worth 1/3 a normal vote.

Games with tuplet voters should use unrounded voting thresholds where 50% of the total voting weight is required to a lynch a player.

Pedit: Town would never know. They may be town... or they may be a mafia traitor. Mafia learn the exact identity of the traitor as is typical of mafia traitors.

Trying to balance overpowered roles with post restrictions is a bad idea and doesn't work. (This one is easy to get around via making the same post several times in a row, which isn't a post-restriction reference but immediately causes people to suspect that you have one. Upon being asked if you have one, you can say yes. Then people can search the Grand Idea thread and find the specific restriction, which will let people figure out the player's role.)

You are aligned with the Aliens.

With one exception, you cannot be eliminated.

Exception: If and only if only town and aliens remain, and it is 3p LyLo (for town with the assumptions Aliens win a 1v1 endgame and have a kill left, regardless if this is actually true), you may be eliminated.

Pedit: That counts as hinting (if you are purposefully doing it to get people to ask if you have a posting restriction) at the post restriction which is explicitly forbidden. Granted, that falls under moderator discretion.

Edit: Also added a rule to that role that you can only confirm the existence of the posting restriction and not the exact details. I know post restrictions aren't failproof but honestly, it's Grand Idea msfia. The role probably isn't as overpowered as it may seem.

Anyone who successfully targets you is poisoned and dies at the start of the day at least one complete cycle from now.

(Eg: Night 2 poison --> dies at start of day 4.
Day 2 poison --> Dies at start of day 3.)
