8. Breaching of rules will usually result in a warning initially, but depending on severity, may result in a force-replacement or modkill.
   
9. During the course of the game I may add extra rules if necessary. These rule changes will be announced publicly.

Deadlines, Activity, and replacements

1. Day start. Days will last N+2 days, where N is the number of players alive. Nights will last 2 days.
   
2. Prods will be issued if you do not post for a sufficiently long period of time. This starts off at 48 hours, but reduces by 6 hours each cycle.
   
3. If you get three or more prods, or fail to respond to a prod by posting in thread within 24 hours (or by PM if at Night), I will begin seeking for a replacement.
   
4. If you expect to be unable to post for a while, please declare V/LA in thread. Should your V/LA be unreasonably long (>5 days), however, I strongly suggest you request replacement.
   
5. You will still be prodded while on V/LA, but these will not count towards the above three prod limit. An official prod will be sent 24 hours after your V/LA ends if you haven't posted then.
   
6. If a replacement happens at Night, deadline will be paused until a replacement is found.
   
7. If you would like to replace out, please PM me. Do not talk about it in the game.
   
8. Do not discuss about wanting to replace out, threaten to replace out, or persuade/dissuade others from replacing out for any reason other than activity.
   
9. Once your replacement request is publicized, it is final. You must cease to post, and you will not be allowed to cancel your replacement request unless 48 hours pass without a replacement being found.

Voting Rules

1. To vote, use vote tags (VOTE: BulletNLynchproof). Bold tags (

   ) are highly discouraged but allowed.
   
2. Abbreviations or misspellings in votes will be accepted as long as it is clear who you are voting for.
   
3. Nicknames in votes will be accepted only if they fall into the above categories. Otherwise, nicknames based on other sources such as (but not limited to) avatars, titles and other accounts will not be accepted.
   
4. Unvote with UNVOTE: BulletNLynchproof, or less preferably,

   (the player name is optional in this case)
   
5. Votes in quote tags or spoiler tags will be ignored. If it contains a broken quote or spoiler tag, I will handle it on a case-by-case basis depending on my perceived intention of the post.
   
6. I will do my best to ensure that each vote count is accurate. If there are any inaccuracies in the vote count, they will not be fixed unless it results in someone being lynched when they shouldn't have been or vice versa, and any involved votes must have been made in the last 48 hours. As such, please check to ensure that your vote is correctly reflected in the latest vote count, and make a revote otherwise.
   
7. On Day 2 and onwards,
   1. A strict majority (more than half) of players is required to achieve a lynch.
      
   2. Once majority is achieved, the lynch is final, and the Day will end immediately with further votes and unvotes being invalid.
      
   3. If a lynch is not achieved by deadline, the Day will end with no lynch.
8. Day 1 will have different lynching rules:
   1. For the first 7 days of Day 1, the threshold to lynch will be 8.
      
   2. For the rest of Day 1, if the Day has not ended yet, the threshold to lynch will be 5.
      
   3. If Day 1 ends with no player having 5 votes, the Day will end with no lynch.
9. The Mafia and Masons have daytalk.

Setup-specific Rules

1. This is an open setup: There are 2 Mafiosos, 2 Masons, and 5 Townies.
   
2. Before the game starts, you must PM me with the name of a player you'd like to be partners with.
   
3. The default chance of two players being partners is 1, but it increases to 4 if one of them requests to be partners with the other, or to 7 if both request each other.
   
4. Using this biased distribution, I will generate two pairs of players. If they overlap, I will reroll both pairs.
   
5. The first pair of players will be Mafia Goons, and the second pair will be Masons. The remaining players will be Townies.
   
6. The biased distribution will be publicized at the start of the game.

I would like to apologize for the poor handling of the situation. I did notice the requests for happily ever after, but failed to get round to it promptly, and eventually after everyone started voting for it the situation got out of hand. I seeked advice from a listmod, who recommended me to publicly refuse the happily ever after votes, but then turned around to say that I should have ignored the whole thing as it is considered influence as a mod. This led to LyLo being played out in a way it wasn't supposed to be.

What was definitely unacceptable, though, was Firebringer asking for a modkill with the action I just mentioned to avoid doing. Whether I made the correct call or not, it was my decision and it had players had to abide by it.
