Boon has the kind of big personality which is deceptively harder to capture than it seems. this kind of title is the way to go, like I'm not sure there's a "perfect title" which encapsulates his essence wittily

pedit: he has a few accounts, flavor leaf is his mafia playing main I guess and has a kinda different style. Boon he uses more to mod. I think FL is the one with SE access fwiw

I honestly, legitimately, believe that it's a good title for Boonskiies. The pun IS only the first level to the title making the obvious reference; it is genuinely something I feel reflects his presence on the site as both a moderator and a player.

"Transparent" is a description of his play and not actually clever. I doubt anyone thought this title was going anywhere or even if anyone had any intention of seriously suggesting it, but

I'll support "of Havoc," or variations of, though it misses that sort of ring to it. He was pretty chaotic in Fire on the mountain, and I rarely see him play for anything other than personal gain and chaos, so it seems applicable. "of Habit" removes any cleverness from it and makes the title more about completing a phrase than describing anything about the person.

So I've been thinking about this for a while and I want to know what others think about this.

I want to nominate wgeurts for

Platinum

The first, hopefully rather obvious reason is that it is a pokemon game. He plays pokemon on a competitive level and it's a big part of who he is. I think this part is fairly self-evident?

Secondly, we regularly see a wgeurts thread rating songs. He obviously isn't the only one doing it, but we see him in the song contest from time to time too. I'd like to think platinum is a rather nice play on how albums/songs can earn platinum when they're good?

Lastly, platinum is a unique, precious metal. I think it describes wgeurts well in terms of personality, but also in his unique creativity when it comes to designing mafia games (I believe he won a scummy for that too?) and in all the work he has put in the wiki, which is also a thing very few people have done to that extent.

So yeah, I hope this rambling makes at least some sense.

sry, "platinum is one of the pokemon games" just doesn't sit well enough as a title justification, and i feel the same way about the other rationales too. Seems too arbitrary on the one hand and the ideas won't be clear enough to new readers later on.

I see where it's coming from but I'm pretty doubtful it has any staying power. I don't think the connection between platinum and either his modding contributions or wiki contributions is really there, and while the pokemon and rating threads might be a part of his site presence the biggest thing that I at least think of when I think of him is his extensive wiki contributions. I don't really see the direct personality connection either or how platinum relates to creativity in mafia setup design (i guess winning scummies?)

This is more or less where I'm at. I don't know wgeurts as well as I should/he deserves, but when I think about him, I'd struggle to find a title of 'Platinum' as being correlated to him. A title need not encompass every aspect of a user's presence, but I feel like the connection needs to be stronger than what Platinum gives.
