They don't look like alts to me. If I had to guess I'd say it was a group of people who know each other from RL or another forum.
Which does bring up a potential issue, because I don't think FakeGod said anything about discussing what you're going to pick ahead of time, but that's pretty clearly not okay.

What is an "RL friend"? I've seen "RL" used as an abbreviation for "Real Life" but that meaning doesn't seem to fit in this context. Are they friends you met from a RogueLike game forum? If so emphasize that they can win even if they die in mafia, that will be pretty different.
It is definitely OK for them to play with us even if they are "RL" friends and not mafia friends, hito is my ANR friend but I would still let him play in a game I was modding.
