Random Alignment Random Modifier Random Role

(Note: This particular version may (likely) differ from past versions.)

For the alignment, roll a 1d10:
1 => Town
2 => Town
3 => Town
4 => Town
5 => Town
6 => Jester
7 => Jester
8 => Jester
9 => Mafia
10 => Werewolf

For the modifier, roll a 1d10:
1 => (None): Equivalent to the unmodified role.
2 => 1-Shot: This role may be used only once per game.
3 => 2-Shot: This role may be used only twice per game.
4 => Even Night: This role may be used only on even nights.
5 => Odd Night: This role may be used only on odd nights.
6 => Loud: Players you target with this role will receive a message that states you visited them (but not the action).
7 => Announcing: Players you target with this role will learn what action you used against them (but not the player).
8 => Novice: This role may not be used on night 1.
9 => Non-Consecutive: This role may not be used twice in a row.
10 => Macho: You may not be protected by any means.

For the role, roll a 1d20:
1 => Vanilla: You possess no special abilities!
2 => Vanilla
3 => Vanilla
4 => Vanilla
5 => Vanilla
6 => Doctor: Target a player each night. You will attempt to protect them from a single kill.
7 => Doctor
8 => Doctor
9 => Jailkeeper: Target a player each night. You will attempt to roleblock them (preventing them from acting), and you will attempt to protect them from all kills.
10 => Jailkeeper
11 => Cop (Sane): Target a player each night. You will attempt to determine if they are mafia/not mafia. Your sanity is not guaranteed.
12 => Cop (Insane)
13 => Seer (Sane): Target a player each night. You will attempt to determine if they are werewolf/not werewolf. Your sanity is not guaranteed.
14 => Seer (Insane)
15 => Tracker: Target a player each night. You will attempt to learn who they targeted (on the night you use this action).
16 => Tracker
17 => Follower: Target a player each night. You will attempt to learn what actions they performed (on the night you use this action). See also: Follower.
18 => Roleblocker: Target a player each night. You will attempt to prevent them from acting (on the night you use this action).
19 => Watcher: Target a player each night. You will attempt to learn who targeted your target (on the night you use this action).
20 => Alignment Cop: Target a player each night. You will attempt to learn your target's alignment (such as Town, Mafia, etc.)

Moderator Notes: You should perform the rolls during the setup/design phase BEFORE handing the player their role pm. There should be no indication that their role was randomly generated. Useless/abnormal combinations like Loud Vanilla are effectively named roles (do not reroll those). Cop sanities should not be revealed.

Each night, you may target a player to learn if they have an active ability or not.

An active ability is an ability that you must choose to use. This includes factional abilities, but doesn't include depleted X-Shot abilities.

Twice per game, you may attempt to jailkeep a player, simultaneously roleblocking them and protecting them from all kills on the nights you use this action.

The player may choose any standard alignment for this role: town, mafia, werewolves, aliens, serial killer, jester, condemner (random target), or neutral survivor. Other alignments may be allowed as determined by moderator discretion. The player must choose during the setup/design phase (i.e.: before role pms go out), after all other alignments have been determined.

Twice per game, you may target a player. If you succeed, your target will be added to your neighborhood thread and informed that you are guaranteed to be aligned with the town.

Town Friendly Reliable FBI Agent

Each night, you may investigate a player to learn whether they are/are not a Serial Killer. You are guaranteed to be reliable. Your target will also learn that you are aligned with the town.
