I already explained that I have no chance of winning that 1v1, so the result would end up with me being lynched, then scum!TDC kills you, then Saudade who was previously scumreading LUV will just instavote him most of the time and not reconsider that position. Again, in that situation, voting TDC is the stronger move.

You explain a lot, but you explain it with such force that I dismiss a lot of it as AtE. Sorry.
I say things with conviction because it's important to show where I stand with the things I say. I'm an emotional player and I'll admit that I am not free of AtE. But behind my frustrated posts, there still are observations and things that are true most of the time. That's the most important.

It's not an instalose but for it not to be an instaloss the tunneling townies in that theorical situation would need to reconsider their positions, which is REALLY hard to do.
Because in the situation where TDC is scum, he just needs one of saudade or luv voting each other, and saudade already thinks that the scumteam is me and LUV. There is quite literally no chance that he loses in LYLO in that configuration. He also has a deep fake game where he can just pretend that the two slots are impossible to sort because of how scummy they look and faint weakness if Saudade does not instavote LUV. It's just a very strong position that makes scum win a lot of the time.
Also to keep in mind is that I did exactly that in Catloaves (even though the other person got lynched instead of me), so I have already shown that this is the kind of line I take as scum. I am not the kind of scum player locking townvotes on purpose.
