If it matters, her oni half is red, which gives her skin a light pinkish hue. Her hair is also red, but so was her human mother's; she wears it in a braid. She does have horns and gets hungry quite easily. ...She's 4'11", which no one has been able to figure out the cause of, since both her parents were tall, but sufficiently muscular to do damage when hitting things with her fists (and possibly other parts of her body).

I said "pugilist", but what I had in mind was "monk", just more feminine, less inclined to shaved heads, and more pro-violence (and slightly less chaste, but that's probably irrelevant). But still somewhat more reliant on dexterity than strength (she is pretty small, after all). She wears those fist wrap things that people who fight with their fists have, although I'm unsure if it's to protect their hands or increase damage.

Nah, you can keep it. Unarmed combat is gonna be a point of pride for my oni girl. Like, even if she found a Legendary Longsword of All-Things-Evil-Slaying +1, she'd probably either (a) give it away randomly, (b) melt it down for scrap, or (3) attempt to eat it.

Yes. Everything relating to the attack is rolled with disadvantage, including the chance it'll inflict some sort of status effect.

No worries, life happens. I shall wait with bated breath to see how my fight turned out (and don't worry about combat being unbalanced; if you're making it up on the fly, it makes sense there'd be some kinks in the system, and the element of randomness could still lead to surprising outcomes on occasion).
