Yaus! Another nightless game!

Fwiw, I think any other nightless games are good reads, though the last one I was in was frustrating.

Anyone wanna hear my/Pooky's thing about, "Lives"?

Well, there are twelve players, 8 town, 4 scum. This means we essentially have 4 "lives" or mislynches. Town has the advantage here, because scum has to essentially have 4 mislynches in a ROW to win. For each scum we lynch, the town gains an "Extra life" since scum have one less person to endgame.

So this game is guaranteed to last 4 days, and will extend by one day each time we lynch scum.

It's pretty simple to work out, but kind of abstract to think about until someone points it out.

Love of bandwagons
Bandwagons are interesting ways to find out information but I seriously dislike them. It shows zero reasoning and scum will usually use them to speedlynch someone. @IH, @yellowbounder, (both present in both Berry and Aegor wagons), @Aegor and @Lquiz any conclusions of your love of bandwagons? Why are you bandwagoning him?

Ok. I propsed this in my last nightless game, and scum tried to use it to attack me the entire time, until the town lynched him to just shut up.

So I'll propose it this time too.

Since we have, "Lives" I suggest that anyone who speedhammers should be insta lynched day 2. We need time to talk, and we need to make sure the day doesn't end abruptly.

Anyone else up for 0 tolerance speed lynching policy? We can define "speed lynching" after we agree on it.

I will even temporarily unvote until then.

Also as soon as this is out of the way, I'm probably going to be putting my vote on Aegor again for a couple of reasons. That bluff or gambit, or whatever it is just can't go unchallenged. I'm willing to at least put Aegor close to lynch, after my proposal and such has been put out of the way.

I'm going with, "Lynched in under one page length (25 posts) or in a period of 24 hours without discussion on a lynch". With enough room to change that we can deem what we think is speed lynching. Just as a loose definition.

I'm open to other definitions.

IH -- I meant to comment that I think it is somewhat ironic that your way of dealing with a quicklynch is to quicklynch somebody ... And I will admit, if I were confident to a certain degree that someone was scum and I personally had the opportunity to quicklynch them I probably would (as I like taking risks and I would be fearful that someone I was sure of was scum would outtalk their way of being lynched).

Well it deters quicklynching all around. I'm up for quicklynching regardless, because why would someone quicklynch a scumbuddy unless it was a gambit? I'd bet it was another scum.

About Aegor's case, meh, why he as scum would need to post that? Dont they want to avoid the most possible attention?

Okay, here we go.

I did it somewhat jokingly, and somewhat not. My response: "Joking? No." was actually in response to the question: "First time doing this, Aegor?" The explanation about my theoretical scumbuddies was not to be taken too seriously. However, there was still some "serious" component, as I could have joked about something more innocuous. In this way, the explanation was both for my own amusement and just breaking the ice. Considering the facts that I am amused and we are still talking about it, I would say that it was a success.

Why did you dance around so much? As town it is a potentially disastrous play. As scum, it's a downright bluff, and pure, "irony" that I see alot from people as scum. Personally I don't like it when anyone claims scum, joking or not, because there is SOME reason for that.

Do you have other games where you have done something similar?

I guess my problem with that is that yellow was the 5th vote on sun. Do we really think they'd bus so early? In a nightless game?

Because I thought a scum player would be more careful to not make a stuipid mistake and vote for their predecessor. I've nearly voted for my predecessor before upon reading a new game, and it seems more likely to happen as town than scum.

FL is the play for today for farside's earlier reasons.

Err, wut? While FL's play yesterday could have been bussing, I don't think that the Sun wagon would have even gotten STARTED or MOVING without FL, which kept the pressure on him, and made him crack the way he did. For now, anyway, I think that FL would be more intent on keeping pressure off that buddy, especially a newer player, than to insta bus.

However Chelsfan ignoring Lowell's late hammer and voting light for what I feel is poor reasoning has me leaning

Lowell with Chelsfan as possible scum partner at the moment.

Well, I know that FL has played for awhile, and I doubt that he'd stick up for a scum buddy this resolutely, this close to lynching him but putting him in his, "town" section, instead of at least his neutral section.
