I'm happy to take a bit more time to work through it all; NK15 and inspir in particular appear to have some really good ideas about how to run this encounter tho and I'm not a strategy master.

My suggestion would be silence on szyme, tornado on Delta + Alpha. Re-assess from there; if the delta tornado was sub 3 damage (his defence roll is 1d3) it might be worth a second tornado. Otherwise we could safely push it down to low hp.
Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
Yeah you are wrong. Szyme has absolutely no first strike. They have haste; they can act twice per round. But they do not have quick strike(which would allow them to act before us).

double check for me? been a long day so my brain may be melted. Way I'm reading it he has first strike tho.
Yes he has first strike, but that just allows him to act once before we got to act at the beginning of the game.
He also has an ability which negates our initiative though.

Yeah he does...
sorry.
BUT
it isn't Quick Strike.
First Strike only acts at the beginning of the battle.

Mostly yeah, though I think Not Known is right about silence not being worth it.
I think start with two double slashes on Delta, if we roll high we can continue and kill it, if not then we can switch to just tornados for stunning. Basically hedge for both plans.

Alpha has a 1/3 stun res, Beta has a 1/6 stun res. Szyme has his cc reduction skill.
I'm probably kinda agreeing now that Szyme has dropped his big heal (not enough mana for a res), silencing him won't be as effective as it would be if he had a deeper mana pool. Good pickup that he has no way to restore his mana that we can see.
Do we just tornado alpha/beta and hope luck is on our side? Perhaps have David prepare a poison attack.

To be specific, as of right now, Silenced, Stunned, and Bound count as crowd control afflictions. Scared notably counts as a mental status affliction rather than crowd control.
Just quoting this clarifying point in case someone other than me missed it.
Guess we aren't silencing szyme.
I'd very much like to annihilate alpha next, I think. Beta is easier to cc and alpha's offensive spells could be problematic later when we're on lower hp (lookin at that chain lightning and literally "kill" spell)
