He was previously busy with another game. I fully expect him to do so, assuming we don’t get mislynched first.

That HAD to happen to stop Thanos because Thanos was inevitable.

Starlord indirectly SAVED the world by doing that because it was necessary because of the 1 possible outcome

Which is an example of Thanos getting his just desserts because of Starlord’s connection to Gamora, so Thanos caused his own demise by invoking Starlord.

Starlord not fucking everything up could have been the one possible outcome.
There's nothing you can say to me to convince me that Starlord's actions were ok/forgiveable.
He's trash.
He's worse than Jar Jar and Anakin in Phantom COMBINED.

It couldn’t have been! Thanos is inevitable! Something else would have happened to ruin it.

There was only one path

There were so many ways/reasons for their plan to fail and for Endgame to happen, and I would have been fine with that.
I'm not ok with Starlord being a little baby and ruining the plan because he couldn't control his emotions. He's fucking dumb. It's exactly how I felt about BatmanVSuperman.
WHY CAN'T SUPERHEROES CONTROL THEIR DAMN EMOTIONS?!?!?!

It’s waaaaaay different.

Starlord’s writing and that moment was earned character wise and storywise.

Batman vs Superman was just bad writing for that spot.

Flawed characters does not = flawed writing.

Flawed characters are far superior than normies like boring Superman or Arrow from Arrow (excluding the flashbacks)

There are many reasons Dark phoenix sucks.

You can listen to my podcast about that.

Starlord blows. It's the same exact situation as BVS. There's a plan to take out a bad guy (or a rad guy as one of my alts would say) and a main character fucks it up because of their emotions.

You know my thoughts on Superman/Arrow.
Superman is the worst comic book character in history.
I had to stop watching the Flash because of the Flash's damn emotions.
It's fucking tiring.

Heroes are supposed to be strong.
Being unable to control your emotions is weak.

This is a really weird take that I think makes a lot of assumptions about masculinity and the way it’s tied up in hero narratives
