I was put to L-2 before there was any meaningful content on the board at ALL, specifically for meta reasons. They weren’t even RVS votes. Then when I panic a little, I get a lyncher jumping down my throat, Ali memeing at me, and everything I said got ignored

The 2/3 OMGUS scumread? I voted Plum first. Plum’s vote was after mine. If anything, you’ve got it backwards.

This felt personal. I tried to tell myself “Dude, they’re afraid of the awesome might of your scumgame,” but bullshit. This had nothing to do with my play here. The last couple of votes, maybe, but the bulk of the wagon was advertised as a meta policy lynch. “Pine chooses scum here every time”

No I fucking don’t. I like having my reputation, but lately it’s made actually playing the game really hard, because I get reverse-BOP’ed in every damn game.

It’s really bothering me, because while I get that there’s some merit to the initial suspicion, I’m not really being given any kind of fair shake

It has been brought to my attention that my Rules Blurb does not have a strict posting requirement written into it. This is intentional. I find that strict limits will often involve players posting just enough to lurk OVER the limit or players who are active sometimes being caught up by the limit. I like to be able to judge flexibly what is and isn't acceptable posting amounts. If you need to know my method, players who post frequently and in good standing are given leeway when it comes to sudden bursts of inactivity. Life happens. That said, the game must also go on, and this game is more strict than others in terms of its need for active players. Events, Timers, it's an advanced game. I am writing this post so that everyone hopefully understands where I am coming from as a mod, I will try and be as understanding as possible and if you need to V/LA for a time let me know and we can try and work it out, but otherwise posts are required to happen at least some amount. Thank you for your consideration and time, and no, none of you need to Merci, Madame this even though I know some of you will.

I looked over the entire thread and only two early posts seem of any note. The rest was all... neither indicative nor needed any questions(except the lyncher claim and Pine but it is too late for pine - the supposed lyncher didn't leave the game and pine is banished.). The no flip thing and the townread thing aren't great for me because I normally play both by using flips and scumreading while I can't really townread.

imo we should eschew normal scumhunting completely, and instead *exclusively* discuss what order we think people put things in and the implications thereof.

For instance, kuribo is probably lying about putting scum as his third choice, but is nonetheless town who ordered his picks as town > scum > third party.

This was the first post that got my attention on re-read.
Why should we exclusively discuss what order we think people picked? Isn't that a bit too WIFOM'y, making "exclusively" extremely dangerous?
