To participate, simply post "/in" in the thread and send me a PM with two powers.
If you don't want to pick any powers, PM the mod and she'll select two powers on your behalf.
Once I have received all powers I will reveal the powers and the bidding phase will begin.
Communication in private will be permitted after the bidding phase has begun.
You may select a superhero name now, or after you have won your powers.
Deadlines will be 48 hours.

  You are a tree. When you have this superpower, you can't have any other superpowers, nor attack any other players. All your energy will be spent on defense, since trees can't do anything but defend themselves.
  However, you can select a player to swap superpowers with after a round is over. If both of you are still alive, you will gain his superpowers and THEY will be the Tree during the next round. Cruel!
  modnote1: you won't lose energy by selecting a player. you automatically gain this power.

• Meticulous Preparation:
  Spend 25 Energy and choose a power: You are immune to taking Damage from the chosen power's effects for this Round. You may not choose the same power in consecutive Rounds.
  
• Regeneration:
  When you do nothing else on a given round, you gain 5 power
  
• One Punch:
  When attacking a player if your attack is greater than or equal to double the target's defense, you ignore their defense
  
• My Cabbages:
  May give one cabbage to any number of players (including self). When submitting actions the following round a player may elect to eat a cabbage. If they do when actions are revealed a d4 is rolled and they receive a random bonus.
  1=Gain 40 HP
  2=Double your defence value this round
  3=Increase your attack value by 1.5 this round
  4=Gain 10 HP, Gain 20 Defence, Gain 10 Attack on a random target you are targeting this round, AND the player who owns the power, My Cabbages, heals 20 HP. If you own My Cabbages you only receive the first part of the power, you do not heal an additional 20 HP.

• Guy Owning A Tavern a.k.a. GOAT:
  You're not the Greatest Of All Time, but Gary, a simple guy owning a tavern. Every round, you can select a player to drink non-alcoholic beverages with. You and that player both get 10+ defense, because you guys are more energetic and strong!
  However, you can also decide not to select a player. Then, everybody who attacks you is invited to come drink booze at your tavern. In the end, they are so drunk that they will be left defenseless, therefore they will lose all the energy they spent on defense that round.
  modnote1: selecting a player costs 5 energy, not selecting a player costs nothing.
  modnote2: if you selected a player, both you and the other player get +10 defense for that specific round.
  
• Vengeful:
  Spend 15 energy, you will get half of the energy that you take from other players. (So if you attack Player A causing them to lose 50 energy, you get 25.)

for the power GOAT, does "they will lose all the energy they spent on defense that round" mean it is permanently lost or no defense is allocated this round?

Answer to Jumble's question:

Players' defense will be 0. They don't lose the energy they spent on defense. Their defense just becomes 0, making all the energy they spent on defense useless.
