A lot of my scum hunting abilities come from "feels" and "gut". It's really hard to explain and I don't know how to elaborate my reads.

As Ank said, to find scum you should look at how reads transitioned throughout the game. A good source for this game would be see how people changed their "derptown" reads on me to "scum" read on me.

nah Fire was derp town, I could feel it and he knew I was town.

Also, I was 99.9% confident that GIF was town. GIF told me straight up that I was town but we had not enough town cred to get to endgame.
