Flavor

The rumors of someone who had managed to escape from the local mental hospital had circulated enough to be treated like they were fact instead of fiction. It didn't take very long for someone to crack under the intense scrutiny of the town as they tried to hunt down both a serial killer and the mafia. In the blink of an eye one of them finally slipped, giving hint to their true motives. It was gobbledygook. In a moment of pure hysteria he pointed at both Korina and the worst.

Holding the position for a slight second, he waited until he had garnered everyone's attention before beginning his tirade. "Look at them! Is it not obvious that Korina is just a dog and the worst is just a duck?" he hysterically cried as Korina silently slipped away. "I may be mentally insane, but it's painfully obvious they're just a bunch of animals in a trench coat! While all of you are busy focusing on finding the mafia or whatever, why don't we do something about the fact that a dog is our governor?"

It was only when Korina returned several minutes later did anything occur. The faint siren of an ambulance wailed in the distance as it grew closer. When it arrived, they didn't take long to single out who Korina had called them for. Easily sedating the turkey—or so gobbledygook was referring to himself as—they loaded the unconscious madman before driving away. As the siren died down, Korina waved his hand above his head before instructing all of you to go to sleep for the night. However, as all of you went back to your respective homes, you could hear Korina whisper to the worst something along the lines of "How did he know that we're both animals in a trench coat?"

The loud noise startled Doctor Drew, instantly waking him up. Who could be knocking so loudly at his door at this hour? Grabbing his medical bag, he briskly rushed to his door and opened it. "Yes?" he drearily asked to the darkness, looking around for whoever could've done it.

Shaking his head, he stepped outside into the brisk night. "Who's there?" he called out. Then he felt it. A bullet shot through his stomach. He grunted, pressing a hand against it to staunch the bleeding before stumbling around. He threw the bag to his feet, rummaging through it for morphine and his surgical tools. Quickly tossing them to the side, he injected the needle into his vein, moaning softly in pleasure as he closed his eyes, ignoring what the dosage was. Seconds later, he limply fell to the ground, a pool of blood forming around him as the light faded from his eyes as he realized his folly. It was too late to counteract his overdose, and he had paid the ultimate price for it.
