We don't know anything else at the moment. The Rebels are probably town, and they're revealed in the Sample Role PM to use the color green, but it says Sample Role PM and not Sample Town Role PM. While their Win condition is seemingly standard for town it's possible it will change as new information is revealed.

I've read and reread this more than once, and I can't help but still wonder what your role PM tells you. You are referring to the sample role PM rather than your own, and you are not certain The Rebels is the flavour term for the town. Are you or are you not aligned with The Rebels?

I think what everybody's exclaiming about is why "scum" would distant themselves from "town" chainsawing them? It sounds reversed to me, as I would expect TOWN to disassociate themselves from someone they don't trust, while scum would welcome such associative to set up "not-p" for a lynch if they ever get flipped first, or use "not-p"'s read on them as a supportive lead to their innocence if that person flipped first.

So, let me see..

Dunn & Rauth are Masons. RedPanda is a Loyal Neighborizer and he confirmed Pisskop. PP is "some kind of an investigative" and he confirmed me. That leaves 11 players unconfirmed.

Out of those I TR Rainn (basically Katyusha) and Sakura the most. I also actually have a TR on CK so let's not bring him into this today.

Bambi is 3P so he's out too, and Gamma us not at all suspicious to me.

I can't make heads or tails on Whemestar. All I know is he hates to play scum and he doesn't look uncomfortable, so leaning town until further notice.

Finally, Maria knows I won't be touching her with a barge pole, but -gun to my head- I'd say she's town (don't quote me on that though. I am still trying to understand what made her hydra p blast in our previous game).

KidAmn? TBH I had him down as possibly 3P on D1 and just forgot about him.

That leaves me with Oversoul > Chemist > Primate as we stand, but I can also be convinced to vote Wheme (out of spite tbh) or KidAmn (if someone makes a good case there).

Now unless someone wants to claim Simotech and claim the kill I believe Oversould to be the lynch for today.
I think (id Gamma is correct about it being single ball) that the scum have a choice between turning someone into a machine and killing someone. I was marked on N1 for sure (the Ascetizing ability), so maybe they can use that simultaneously with their kill, but not the actual "Robotizing" action along with the kill.

I am sating he ascetized me. That's the best explanation for his behaviour around my slot. And his ascetizing ability was probably step 1 of 2 into turning me into a robot (changing my role, but not my alignment).

You don't seem to know what distancing means. How is claiming a fake inno on someone "distancing"?

And I'm not "full" Ascetic. I just neglected to mention that part yesterday, in hopes someone would slip and complete the dots so I would know they were responsible for it. The fact is I am Ascetic on Odd Nights only. "You were targeted by <ability name> and you are now ascetic on Odd Nights. You were ascetic last night" is a good enough rephrase of the message I received.

In Normals you may just jump in and play. In Themed games make sure you read the RULES AND MECHANICS (these also usually include some basic clues), read the flavour, and carefully read the flips (there are clues in the role PMs of the flipped as well).

So, when I read the story above the role PM of PP, then read he had factional abilities, and remembered how he acted around me and what happened to me, then went back to remember what the ability that ascetized me was called.. it all adds up.

And again: A wooden stick would have understood what I'm saying by now. Aeon can change people's roles and turn them into robots. This is done on 2 steps, probably. The alternative is the ascetizer only works on Town and they can only turn town into robots. Either way PP defended me because he somehow knew I could be turned into a robot. He also targeted me on N2 thus he knew I wasn't ascetic last night, because I am only Ascetic on Odd Nights. What is so hard to understand about this?

There are many scenarios to be considered here: One of which is to treat Aeon as an uninformed group of Traitors. They "want to" work with Simotech but they don't know who they are.

Another is to consider the option of the Aeon faction leaving the game upon achieving their win con, so let's say 1 Simotech, 2 townies & 3 Aeon remain (just a hypothetical illustrative example that I can't actually imagine being true because that would mean Aeon started with at least 3 members and so did Simotech). In that case Aeon are either declared winners and the game ends, OR they leave the game with a win leaving the 2 town vs 1 Simotech player battling it out in LyLo.

If you can't wrap your head around it all, just forget it and treat Aeon as a SCUM team regardless. They clearly have to outnumber the Rebels anyway, so they ARE an enemy. It just could be that they cannot kill and thus if we manage to eliminate Simotech and still have more living players than Aeon that they auto-lose.

PP's ascetizer only works on roles with killing abilities. Ot is made that way (Odd Night) so that PP (or his pals) can still target the victim turning them into a killing robot. If I go one step higher in my spec I would say they have a Captain ability??? They tell me whom to target and I either do it or no act? (Surely they don't know that my ability is a passive/reflexive one).

@Bambi: Consult with Elsa, and she might remember in OK1 the SKs could have been endgamed and lost while they were still alive. This is why I am following Rauth's theory with much interest here. I know I am not the only person on MS who could/would think of that.

P.S. Let me clarify this now since it appears to have drifted your thoughts a bit. I am not a "PGO". Again, I didn't care to correct the assumption since it benefited me in more than one way, not the least of which is the fact scum would have been afraid to target me anymore. But since it appears to have lead many of you astray I can accept being NK'd and having you on the right course over me being virtually immune and lead you astray.

I dunno if it wise to full claim my role here. I'd rather not, but if the towniest slots demand it I will.

Towniest slots imho: the 2 Masons + (3P) Bambi + Rainn + Sakura = 5 players, and 3 are required to ask for my claim.

This is NOT to say I have no other TRs, but I'm trying not to give scum or whomever scum may be able to convince to have a say on it, so these 5 are my "council" for now

P-edit: I really want to ass you (primate) to the list, but that would be unfair to CK & Gamma. Do you agree on the above-mentioned 5 to be "independently thinking town players"?
